"It's All About the Weather" (compilation post) by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)
Gaaaaaaa! The world is spinning, and I'm sliding towards the edge. Probably going to get thrown into the void soon. (Remember merry-go-rounds? They were child torture devices that all flew away a decade or two ago. Bummer...)

Yesterday, Mariah and our friends (Neeta and James) and I went to the Hawthorne Theater in Portland, Oregon, (after stopping for dinner at FAT DAVE'S in Vancouver, WA), to see the LORDS OF ACID in concert! There were two "openers" before the main band, Devora (a punk/goth/barroom/country with a female lead vocalist) and PRAGA KHAN, who is IN Lords of Acid, but who also has a ton of solo music, which I love. (I honestly enjoyed the Praga set better than the LORDS' proper!!!) Great show. Well worth staying up past bedtime!
I don't go out very ofter, but I'm pleased with how this show went. Quite enjoyable!
