Tengo que confesar que le debo mucho a esta canción. Me trae recuerdos de una época que, aunque dura, tenía su magia. Cuando viajaba con los muchachos, tocando donde fuera, a veces en esos restaurantes ruidosos, esta era la pieza que siempre hacía que la gente bajara los cubiertos y parara la oreja. Era increíble ver cómo el ambiente cambiaba; se creaba un silencio especial, y se notaba que de verdad conectaban con ella. En más de una ocasión, fue gracias a esa reacción del público que lográbamos juntar lo suficiente para el almuerzo y seguir adelante. Era nuestro as bajo la manga.

Y ahora, mira, aquí estoy, reviviéndola pero con otro rollo. Le metí nuevos acordes y una infinidad de efectos, jajaja. ¡Le puse tantos que hasta me dio vergüenza! Podría llamar a esta... "la versión nerviosa", sí, ¡jajajaja! Porque suena agitada, sin control, cada vez más intensa. Es como si la música misma se estuviera desesperando, imitando a esa lluvia torrencial que se llevó todo cuando tú te fuiste Lolita. La misma que cayó sobre mi corazón y lo dejó hecho un charco.

¡Lolita, XD! Esa chama... ¡qué fuerte! Aquel desastre me dejó hecho polvo, llorando en un rincón como un gato callejero, famélico, maullando por un mendrugo de amor. Me dejó solo, con el alma llena de esos pelos blancos que salen de la pena... y aquí me tienes, todavía, maullando por un cariño que se fue: miau, miau, miau... JAJAJAJAJA

I have to confess that I owe a lot to this song. It brings back memories of a time that, though tough, had its own magic. When I was traveling with the boys, playing wherever we could—sometimes in those noisy restaurants—this was the piece that always made people put down their cutlery and prick up their ears. It was incredible to see the atmosphere change; a special silence would fall, and you could tell they were truly connecting with it. On more than one occasion, it was thanks to that reaction from the crowd that we managed to scrape together enough for lunch and keep going. It was our ace up the sleeve.

And now, look, here I am, revisiting it but with a different vibe. I added new chords and a ton of effects, haha. I added so many that I even embarrassed myself! I could call this one... "the nervous version," yes, hahaha! Because it sounds agitated, out of control, more and more intense. It's as if the music itself is despairing, imitating that torrential rain that washed everything away when you left, Lolita. The same rain that fell on my heart and left it in puddles.

Lolita, LOL! That girl... wow! That whole mess left me shattered, crying in a corner like a starving stray cat, meowing for a scrap of love.
