¡Buenas, gente! ¿Cómo están?

Les confieso que subir este video me dio un poco más de cosilla que otras veces, ¡pero es que la cosa se puso complicada! Jajajaja. Se me enredó la lengua más de lo que esperaba, la velocidad de esos versos es una locura y llegó un punto en el que, sin planearlo, tuve que hacer un fade out y rendirme momentáneneamente. ¡Ni modo! A veces la pista te gana la batalla.

Pero quiero que quede claro: me divertí un montón. La energía de los Black Eyed Peas es increíblemente adictiva y quería retarme a mí mismo con algo fuera de mi zona de confort. Y vaya que lo logré, porque es difícil hacer una canción de ellos. La fluidez, el flow y ese ritmo tan característico no son juego de niños.

Sin embargo, no voy a dejar las cosas así. Esta no es una derrota, es solo el primer round. Tomaré esto como un aprendizaje y le voy a meter más práctica. El objetivo ahora es descifrar cómo puedo hacerlo a mi estilo, apropiarme de la esencia de la canción pero poniéndole mi sello personal, hasta que logre rapear esas partes con la misma naturalidad y fuerza. Es un reto que me he propuesto y sé que con dedicación lo voy a conseguir.

Mientras tanto, decidí subir la canción así, con sus tropiezos y todo, para que se rían conmigo y vacilen un rato. La autenticidad también es parte del proceso, ¿no creen? Agradezco mucho la oportunidad de compartir estos momentos con ustedes y su apoyo incondicional.

I have to confess that uploading this video made me a bit more nervous than usual. But the truth is, things got complicated for me! Hahaha. My tongue got tied up way more than I expected; the speed of those verses is absolutely insane, and I reached a point where, without planning it, I had to do a fade out and surrender for a moment. Oh well! Sometimes the track wins the battle, and you have to admit it with a sense of humor. It's all part of the learning process and not taking yourself too seriously.

But I want to make one thing absolutely clear: I had a blast making this cover. The energy of The Black Eyed Peas is incredibly addictive, and that's exactly why I wanted to challenge myself with something I knew was outside my usual comfort zone. And I sure did, because it's really difficult to pull off one of their songs. The fluency, that near-perfect flow, the breath control, and that unique, powerful rhythm are no joke. It demands a hundred percent from you.

However, here's the important part: I'm not going to leave it at that. This isn't a defeat at all, it's just the first round. I'm taking it as a valuable lesson, and I'm going to put in a lot more practice in the coming days. My goal now is even more ambitious: to figure out how to adapt this track to my own style, to capture the vibrant essence of the song but add my personal touch, my own cadence and attitude, until I can rap those tricky parts with the same naturalness and power it requires. It's an artistic challenge I've set for myself, and I know that with dedication and patience, I will get there.

Being authentic and showing the real process, with its ups and downs, is a fundamental part of the journey, don't you think?
