So I recorded this song for Music Zone, and man… the days just slipped away from me without me even realizing it. I really thought I was going to finish everything in just a couple of days, but nope. I ended up recording super slowly, like painfully slow, and then the post-production with those Silent Hill samples took me forever too. Like, way longer than I expected. But oh well, whatever. I'm still sharing it with my alien buddies anyway, just to see if they happen to like my cover of this song. They're probably the only ones who can handle all the weirdness I threw into this track.

So here's what I did. I loaded up that classic Silent Hill 2 sample, you know the one, plus I also grabbed that creepy menu sound effect from the game. Then I just threw them both into BandLab with a bunch of filters — and when I say a bunch, I seriously mean A BUNCH, lol. Like, I'm not even joking. I already lost count of how many filters I actually used. It got to a point where I just kept adding more and more without thinking twice. Once I finally had my vocals and my guitar recorded — which took a while on its own — everything else after that was just adding layer after layer after layer after layer. And yeah, maybe I went a little overboard, but honestly? No regrets. Let's see if my alien friends feel the same way.

Así que grabé esta canción para Music Zone, y, hombre… los días se me pasaron volando sin siquiera darme cuenta. La verdad pensé que iba a terminar todo en solo un par de días, pero nel. Terminé grabando súper lento, como dolorosamente lento, y luego la postproducción con esos samples de Silent Hill también me tomó una eternidad. O sea, mucho más de lo que esperaba. Pero bueno, ni modo. Igual la voy a compartir con mis amigos alienígenas, solo para ver si les gusta mi cover de esta canción. Ellos probablemente son los únicos que pueden soportar toda la rareza que le metí a este track.

Así que esto fue lo que hice. Cargué ese sample clásico de Silent Hill 2, ya sabes cuál, y también agarré ese efecto de sonido espeluznante del menú del juego. Luego los lancé ambos en BandLab con un montón de filtros — y cuando digo un montón, en serio digo UN MONTÓN, jajaja. O sea, ni siquiera estoy bromeando. Ya perdí la cuenta de cuántos filtros usé en total. Llegó a un punto en el que solo seguía agregando y agregando sin pensarlo dos veces. Una vez que finalmente grabé mi voz y mi guitarra — lo cual ya tomó su buen rato — todo lo demás después fue solo agregar capa tras capa tras capa tras capa. Y sí, tal vez me pasé un poquito, ¿pero honestamente? Sin remordimientos. Vamos a ver si mis amigos alienígenas piensan lo mismo.
