Hello family, for the first time I would like to share my art in this beautiful community, and I hope you will all welcome me with much love and affection. I am very grateful to the festival organizers for this opportunity.
For this week, #160, I want to perform a Japanese instrumental titled Merry-Go-Round of Life.
This piece, composed by Joe Hisaishi as part of the original soundtrack for the Japanese film "Howl's Moving Castle," is an orchestral waltz with a melancholic yet vibrant rhythm, giving a sense of movement to the walking castle.
The piano and violin instruments predominate.
It is extremely romantic and reflects the relationship between Sophie and Howl, marked by the sadness of their curses and the beauty of their love that blossoms despite the adversities of war and personal growth.
The film premiered in Japan on November 20, 2004, so the music was composed and recorded that same year or shortly before.
