Musical Mood Of The Day: The Mamas & The Papas
Hello there, fellow HIVE users worldwide as well as dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's second last post here on my HIVE blog (and a brand new personal entry/contribution to the Music community as well), I decided to resume my occasional musical-based column entitled 'Musical Mood Of The Day'. For today's choice, I am going with the classic and longtime emotionally favourite American folk rock and classic rock band The Mamas & the Papas whose musicianship and artistry I admire enormously!

Even though I am still young and by no means an old fan of this great band, as time passed by in my life and I matured their music has always stayed with me, year after year. Therefore, their songs are a very important part of the soundtrack of my life. With their bittersweet, melancholic, yet also beautiful, optimistic, enchanting, and realistic lyrics and emotionally-powerful instrumentation, The Mamas & The Papas managed to conquer me musically from a long, long time.
But, without further needless ado (as additional words are virtually useless while we are at it), here are my two all-time most favourite songs by this great American band:
That was all for this post. I truly hope you liked it, found it interesting, and that it was well worth your time. Thank you very much for your time, appreciation, readership, and positive feedback here on my HIVE posts. It means a lot to me! All the best, much respect, take care, stay safe, and have a wonderful autumn along with your dear ones!
P.S.: Their music always soothed me when I was troubled which meant and still means so much to me! Also, Michelle Phillips was so beautiful in her youth! By the way, do you like them as well? They were one of the finest folk rock and classic rock bands of the 1960s, contributing significantly in artistic regards, in my humble opinion, to the American counterculture of that decade.
