This is a really good thing. I remember back in the day, the steemit weekly music contest there was a lot of hype, people were joining the platform and creating an account only to enter the contest. Hive deserves more hype so I salute the effort and happily join the party.

My vibe is number one

The process:
I don't rehearse or play covers I just improvise music all the time so this is a window to my process and a peak at the beast in his natural habitat.
This is a 5 minute original live recording edited down to the twitter limit of 2min20. What's been cut out is the transition between instruments (grab the bass, turn the level on, sit down etc) and beside those cuts it's pretty much in real time.

I use the looper to create compositions, this allows me to play more than one instrument at a time (kinda). In this jam I started with the vocoder of the Arturia Microfreak, followed by a 2 note pulse on the Korg poly800, fretless bass popping, little guitar punch and back to the microfreak's vocoder.

This is a great initiative and I sincerely wish it tremendous success!!
