Rock Classics edition #54 - Nirvana

Today I am jumping over an internal bridge - introducing an act that is pretty too young for #RockClassics, 90ies - but they been great so enjoy them!

Nirvana

They started back in the 1980ies to be fair and after the band did split still kept alive and kicking (if may say so) - the lead singer tragic story is one no one will ever forget. The band without Kurt could never been the same, certain rumours since decades come up but...... apart from that nothing happened:

Back in 2012 some members of the band (some are playing foo fighters now or still? I do not know) played together on stage at New Yorker Madison Square Garden together withe the one and only Paul McCartney to support people after a hurricane disaster,

The band is officially part of the Rock and Roll hall of fame since 2014, way earlier than others but different topic.

Nirvana war eine US-amerikanische Grunge-Band aus Aberdeen im Bundesstaat Washington. Die Band wurde im Jahr 1987 gegründet und erreichte Ende 1991 mit dem Song Smells Like Teen Spirit und dem Album Nevermind große Popularität.Quelle: Wikipedia
