Happy Friday HIVE!!

Here we go, to celebrate almost 1 week of my new song being out, I wanted to go back to my roots, and think - what originally inspired me? Why/how did I start playing guitar? Well, Green Day are one of the bands I have to thank! :)

Always loved this song, album, and band. So cool to see Green Day pumping out more bangers in recent days, and many of those late 90s and early 2000s bands all making some huge comebacks right now! It is amazing! Bands have returned everyone!

Fun Fact - This was the first song I ever covered. I mean, like ever. Around 2007 I was in college studying music technology, and we recorded this song. I played guitar and sang over it. Safe to say, it was terrible haha. My vocals especially! But, as time goes on, we adopt adapt and improve (as John Cleese once said).

I saw a video of Green Day playing the whole Dookie album recently, it was so cool!

Fascinating brother. I really like the rhythm of your songs. They make me remember that great offspring era. I think I've mentioned it to you before 🤣🤣.
