RE: Vinyl records - an item interesting just for collectors?

I used to have my vinyls until our last move i decided to dump them, since i use FLAC files these days on my NAS to stream to my stereon in the living room or in my car .
I used to play vinyl on birthday parties but also at a lokal community center when there was a party .
but that is a long time ago + 40 years :)
Somewhere in the 1990 we got CD players and in 1997 / 1998 we got mp3 after that the vinyl lost it magic for most people .

Oh, that's cool that you used to play vinyl at parties! 👍 Yeah, times have changed, but maybe it is not all lost for the vinyl records. Collectors will have more interest in them one day again, I hope 😉
