Here I am again at @afritunes week 178. The week has been thrilling and challenging as I round up my examinations in a few days, so I decided to sing the song MAI TAIMAKO (NA KIRA) because I need the help of God to scale through and excel in my examinations. So I stumbled into this song on our band platform, which was selected to be present on Sunday last week, and I found it very befitting to the desires of my heart at this particular moment. It is my absolute prayer request at this point, so I didn't find it difficult to follow the rhythm and lyrics' harmony.

The song is a Hausa song that calls for help and confirms that help comes only from Ebenezer. Kudos to the ministers of this song as well as their media team; they really did a great job in achieving this. Sometimes, and on some occasions when you call upon the name of the Lord, it will look like he is not showing forth or the answers you desire are not forthcoming. You are not to give up in that state but rather pray continually and keep believing. The word of the Lord says When you pray, believe that your prayer has been answered. So that believing part is what many are finding it difficult to key into. It's just like the way someone promises us something, and we wait patiently to get it, and in some cases it will take long, but it will surely be fulfilled. So God is never in a hurry; we cannot rush God because He is God all by Himself, not because of your personal need. Then you will keep pondering on heaven's gate, while what God has in store for you is bigger than what you are requesting. Let’s know the mind of God towards us, not just praying blindly but rather seeking to know His will and acknowledging Him, and He will surely direct our path.
