RE: (ENG/DEU) Capturing & Understanding Musical Arrangements

First, I will confess I had no knowledge on how to analyze music in the ways you explained in the post. I am all about how a song makes me feel, the things I thought about while listening, and if I could dance a bit to it and feel better after a bad day.

However, I like how you explained music in a way that made me understand more about songs. I never thought about how little changes in a song can make it more exciting.

I also liked how you said people remember melodies the most because as I said above that is one of the things that makes me listen to a particular song often.

It was also nice that you showed the steps you use to listen carefully and study songs. It makes me want to try analyzing music too.

I think you did a great job sharing this, thank you for that.

Thank you very much for your comment!

It makes me want to try analyzing music too.

If you do so with quality music (maybe not the current Pop trash, but The Queen, Pink Floyd, whatever; quality music which you like), you will discover much more and will honor this songs even more. For me listening in detail makes music much more enjoyable. And as a result I listen to more quality music, because most of the modern stuff is just made to life fast, to consume, to rot your brain. Mostly there is no real art. In older songs there is. And it's a joy to discover! (At least for me...)

Sherah, Hive a great start into the new week! !hug
