That's interesting, but the figures seem exaggerated to me. How much do the others he mentions, such as the radios and streaming services, get?
I read somewhere that over 230,000 songs are released per day, a figure for 2023; this year, it's probably even higher. There are a lot of costs involved in all this production, probably included in what he mentioned. If they are not, it is more than he is talking about.
Otherwise, the video is interesting, a kind of multicultural mix, and the text is intriguing.

Great points! There’s definitely more behind the numbers... distribution cuts, marketing costs, etc. Still, it’s fascinating how the business side shapes music today.
