I know what you mean about songs that have been overplayed, and then you give them a bit of distance and then remember why they were such a good song in the first place. I love that. Still, I'm not sure I'm ready yet to listen to the White Stripes again, haha! I did it with the Streets last night, listening to Original Pirate Material. It'd been years, and I remembered what a great album it was.

Not sure if it's restrained to three tunes, but that's how I observed it. Just as you said, it's just another excuse to listen to and share music :-D
I'm not big on Hip Hop, generally, though I looked that band up and it does sound rather original. Definitely too raw for what is produced today, not as elaborate. Pretty catching that way, like a glimpse back when it wasn't about the most sleek, but the scratches made the perfection.
