It makes me want to try analyzing music too.

If you do so with quality music (maybe not the current Pop trash, but The Queen, Pink Floyd, whatever; quality music which you like), you will discover much more and will honor this songs even more. For me listening in detail makes music much more enjoyable. And as a result I listen to more quality music, because most of the modern stuff is just made to life fast, to consume, to rot your brain. Mostly there is no real art. In older songs there is. And it's a joy to discover! (At least for me...)
