La canción con la que participo hoy es "Amigo" de Roberto Carlos. Hay una frase en dicha canción que es muy significativa:

Es la prueba de fuego del amigo con el que pasamos los momentos buenos: permanecer inalterable a nuestro lado en los momentos fuertes, en los momentos malos.
En las Sagradas Escrituras hay pasajes en los cuales brillan los ejemplos de amistades sinceras:
La amistad de Ruth con su suegra Nohemí, la del Rey David y Jonatán, la de nuestro Señor Jesucristo con Lázaro y sus hermanas.
A alguien escuché una vez decir que que los amigos son "Hermanos que nacen en otras familias"
El amigo que inspiró esta canción debe haberse sentido muy honrado por habérsele reconocido su meritoria amistad.
Aprovechando el hecho de que estamos en Adviento y es una época de especial preparación para la venida de nuestro Señor, podemos pensar en nuestros amigos y cuestionarnos ¿Qué clase de amigos somos? ¿Qué debemos mejorar para llegar a ser esa clase de amigos que merecen una canción como esta?
