We just wanted a coffee, but... Rock Show Peru
Last Saturday we agreed to meet with our friend Daniel Supo to talk and have a coffee, I do not know if in your country there is the Colombian coffee franchise Juan Valdes, but we love it, so when it comes to drinking coffee we do not fall into the easy trap of going to a Starbucks 😅, just kidding, it is also good there, but we prefer the Colombian franchise. The agreed place was the Centro Civico Shopping Center in the city of Lima, a very busy and very central place that allows easy access from different parts of the city, so it is usually an ideal place to meet with friends.

After having our cold coffee and an interesting conversation, we set out to walk around the outskirts of the mall to get some fresh air. There is an extensive green area where we can find the Juana Alarco de Darmmet Park and the Italian Art Museum. Right next to this museum, there is a kind of round cement stage that I guess was built for community events; and well, it was precisely there where we met Rock Show Peru.
This edition was totally free and had the presence of bands such as Chango Fuera, Tribales, El Despertar, El Syd, 7 vidas, Sugar Daddy, among others. All of them performed original songs, which is rare since it is normal in this type of events to hear covers of famous bands, but this was the case and that was something that caught our attention because the presentations of each one were at least 45 minutes of original music, that speaks of the talent that exists in this country.

The genre that was heard the most was Hard Rock and Rock and Roll, all with heavy tendencies and with a lot of energy, that made the spectators stay always attentive and pleased with what they were listening to. The bands that we could hear were at a very high level in terms of execution and attitude, it is noticeable that they have been prepared for a long time and it was noticeable that they have been on stage for a long time.

One of the things that pleased us a lot is that the musicians were always very humble and gentle with the public, it is true that they are not famous bands and therefore did not require a security system to keep them apart, but the humility of local rockers in general is usually outstanding, so we took the opportunity to take some pictures with them.

We recorded some sections of the presentations so you can observe in more detail the atmosphere and vibes of this warm concert of local bands that made us spend 3 hours of fun and that made us remember times when we used to attend events like this in our country. A big hug to everyone!

Hehe, how cool you could take pictures with the musicians 😀 nice memories 🍸
And good to hear you attended another live music event 🎶🥳☘️
Yes, it was an unexpected but fun night, what was supposed to be just a coffee ended up in a rock concert 😅😎.
I myself love to see live performances like this, especially with all these people working so hard at such a beautiful venue. Time passes much better whenever meeting friends.
Live performances show you the reality of the musicians and their rapport with the audience. This particular one was a special night. Cheers!
Yeah I totally agree with you.
How nice that after spending a nice time having coffee you came across this musical presentation. From what I can see it's a rock and roll band that has a lot of quality, I liked what I heard.
All the bands that performed had a high level, not to mention that the songs were original, the truth is that everything in general was very well done.
It seems like they had a very pleasant time, the band has a lot of feeling and connection with the public.
What a great way to spend an afternoon, with friends, coffee and great music.
We certainly had a great time, that night we realized that the rock scene in Peru is quite big, we could not end the night in a better way. Cheers!
This is awesome! When deciding on a place for a relaxing chill drinks with friends, we tend to always pick one that has a live band playing. Live music are the best as it creates the atmosphere necessary to enjoy it even more! 😁
It is definitely better enjoyed with live music, with that atmosphere the sharing is usually more enjoyable and relaxed. We had a lot of fun!
Glad to hear that you have fun! Live music is better when enjoyed with the right company as well! ✌️
I'm glad that you enjoyed the coffee
It has been a while since I watched a band played a love show. It is always very interesting
Thank you for your words! It was a pleasure to share!
Super, a coffee and then a concert with a lot of rock bands... (and free) and photo session! But you see, I had to be there and not daydreaming about Iceland.
The truth is that everything lined up for that night to be special, we did not expect anything like that, but life sometimes gives you these moments. And well, there is nothing wrong with dreaming about Iceland, I also dream about other places frequently.
Starbucks or any other larger coffee place chain is something I try to avoid, to be honest. I prefer the local stand-alone coffee places with their own micro-burning facilities. Fortunately, I have one kinda of around the corner where I live.
Photographs with the artists and musicians. Something only possible when the bigass promoters aren't organising the event as well as the artists being local I suppose. Well, only at small events I would say 🙃
Certainly the local cafeterias are better, the service is warmer and the preparations feel more personal, but this particular franchise is very good despite being massive.
And yes, the photos and sharing with the musicians only happens when they are locals, I think they play for fun as they surely don't earn anything monetarily.
Let's start with the cause of it all... coffee hehehe... Juan Valdes Rocksssssssss ☕💖.... what a great show of talents that were concentrated in that event, I have no doubt that you spent 3 great hours with good music 🔥🔥🔥.
The sound was very clear, that was very good for the bands and everyone present; personally, as for the presentations that were captured for the video, I really liked the proposal of 7 Vidas and Tribales 👍.
A big hug dear friends, I'm very glad you had a great Saturday with good rock, great bands and a friend... oh and with a great coffee 😁... You Rockkkkkkkkk!!!! 👊😎🔥🎙️🎸🎶❤️🌟🍻💥💫💯
The two bands you mentioned were among the best, although the one that best knew how to handle the audience was Chango fuera, they have years in the scene and they showed it there.
And well, you know Juan Valdes and his goodness. A big hug bro!
The band looks so entertaining and rock n roll in a good way, I can feel you guys enjoy the moment with those band. Thanks🙂
Yes, we had a great time at this event, it was very intimate so we had the opportunity to take pictures and talk with the guys. Thanks for your visit!
What a great outing friends, a good coffee and good music to go with it. Congratulations to the bands and what a great vibe they have 😊
The photos were great, for more moments like this hehe
Original pieces, that was more than great, my congratulations 👐
Life is sometimes made up of simple elements that arise unexpectedly, and it is those moments that we should enjoy to the fullest, even if it is just a simple coffee. A big hug!
