Punk Band Reunion 😎

Zwar gestaltet sich mein Alltag momentan eher traurig, aber es gibt sie noch, die Momente wo ich mich vor lachen nicht mehr halten kann.
Als ich das folgende Video sah, kamen alte Erinnerungen auf und ein nicht enden wollender Lachanfall übermannte mich.
Ich empfehle Vollbild, volle Lautstärke und genug Geduld es bis zum Ende zu schauen, es lohnt sich! 🤣

Although my everyday life is currently rather sad, they still exist, the moments where I can no longer hold myself laughing.
When I saw the following video, old memories came up and a never-ending fit of laughter overwhelmed me.
I recommend full screen, full volume, and enough patience to watch it to the end, it's worth it. 🤣

Tatsächlich befand ich mich einst, als ich noch die Gitarre in einer Punk Band malträtierte, in einer ähnlichen Situation.
Auf einer Geburtstagsparty fragte die dort für die musikalische Unterhaltung verantwortliche Band mich, ob wir auch ein paar Stücke spielen wollten, wir könnten auch ihre Instrumente benutzen.
Da musste ich nicht lange überlegen, auch wenn ich mir bewusst darüber war, das das anwesende Publikum ganz sicher nicht das unsere sei, trommelte meine Mitspieler zusammen und so kaperten wir die Bühne für unseren ersten öffentlichen Auftritt.
„ One, two, three, four! „ und ab ging die Luzi.
Die Anwesenden vor der Bühne standen dort als wäre gerade der Blitz eingeschlagen als wir los legten, Panik in den Augen und die ersten flohen nach draußen noch bevor wir das erste Stück beendet hatten.
Der Gitarrist der anderen Band gab mir hektisch per Handzeichen zu verstehen, das wir abbrechen sollten, die Sorge um ihre Instrumente war wohl sehr groß und zugegebenermaßen nicht ganz unberechtigt. Die Gastgeberin wiederum, bearbeitete meine damalige Frau, Sie solle irgendetwas tun damit wir aufhören zu spielen. Die beruhigte die Gastgeberin mit den Worten, das der Spaß eh gleich vorbei sei, da sie wusste das wir nur 3 Stücke spielen konnten.
Wir Punker ließen uns nicht beirren, droschen weiter für die 3 Leute die vor uns wild herum tanzten, wobei so manches Glas zu Bruch ging.
Nach drei Stücken war Schluss, fast. Da die 3 vor der Bühne eine Zugabe forderten, spielten wir das Programm einfach noch einmal und beendeten dann zur Erleichterung aller unseren Auftritt.

At a birthday party, the band responsible for the musical entertainment there asked me if we wanted to play a few pieces, we could also use their instruments.
I didn't have to think about it for long, even though I was aware that the audience present was definitely not ours, I gathered my fellow players and so we hijacked the stage for our first public performance.
"One, two, three, four! " and off went the Luzi.
The people in front of the stage stood there as if lightning had just struck when we started, panic in their eyes and the first ones fled outside even before we had finished the first song.
The guitarist of the other band gave me a hectically, by hand signal to understand that we should stop, the concern for their instruments was probably very large and admittedly not entirely unjustified. The hostess, in turn, worked on my wife at the time, you should do something so that we stop playing. She calmed the hostess down with the words that the fun was over anyway because she knew that we could only play 3 songs.
We punkers didn't let ourselves be distracted and continued to play for the 3 people who danced wildly in front of us and broke many glasses.
After three songs it was over, almost. Since the 3 in front of the stage demanded an encore, we simply played the program again and then ended our performance to the relief of all.

Kurz darauf wurde wieder Unterhaltungsmusik präsentiert, der Raum füllte sich wieder mit Leuten und das Geburtstagskind versicherte mir sichtlich geschockt, das sie diesen Geburtstag ganz sicher nie vergessen wird. Ich nahm das mit meinem strotzenden Selbstvertrauen und zum Himmel schreiender Eitelkeit, natürlich als Kompliment auf. 😎

Shortly thereafter, entertainment music was presented again, the room filled with people again and the birthday girl assured me, visibly shocked, that she will certainly never forget this birthday. I took that with my brimming confidence and to heaven-screaming vanity, of course as a compliment. 😎
