Babylon Club: El paraíso musical de Danny Ocean 🇻🇪 [Esp/Eng]
Danny Ocean 🇻🇪 lanzó su nuevo álbum musical el 31 de julio de 2025, con 14 canciones. Más que un proyecto musical, es una experiencia tropical, humana y emocional. Y aunque yo realmente no sea tan fan de canciones dentro de estos géneros, me llevé algunas favoritas y me llamó mucho la atención lo que hizo con algunos adiovisuales. De lo que comentaré al final de este post.
Lo primero será:
¿Por qué el Álbum se Llama de esta Manera?
Danny siempre, desde que conozco su trabajo, ha usado esa expresión que ya es muy característica de el “Babylon”. En esta ocasión, Babylon Club es como un lugar metafórico, una utopía playera para relajarse y sentir que no todo es trabajo, la vida también es hermosa. Suena como un abrazo en forma de canción. Además de que es un álbum lanzado pensando en este verano.
Algunas de las Canciones 🎶
Priti
Junto a Sech. Fue publicada hace 4 meses. Es una de las canciones que me gustan. Es una mezcla deliciosa entre sabor panameño y flow playero. Un tema que sin duda está hecho para bailar.😉
Anoche
Junto con Aitana trae una brisa nostálgica que te envuelve y te deja con ese sentimiento de querer volver a algo que no sabes si fue real o sueño. Esta es mi segunda favorita de este álbum.💛
Margarita
Musicalmente mezcla ritmos afrocaribeños, guitarras suaves y un beat que te balancea sin necesidad de caer en lo obvio. Esta también me gustó mucho. Captura con precisión ese espíritu caribeño fiestero joven pero chill, como un atardecer en la isla que le da nombre a la canción.
Crayola
Quien se encarga de cerrar el álbum con mucho ritmo. Que, al igual que Margarita, no es una colaboración, solo es Danny en un ritmo diferente, pues esta canción es un merengue🎶. Tiene ese aire de fiesta familiar venezolana donde suena Wilfrido Vargas y todo el mundo baila, aunque no sepa hacerlo bien😅.
Con Respecto a su Audiovisual
Justo esto me llevó a escuchar todo el álbum, porque, aunque me llevé al menos 3 canciones favoritas, la razón por la que llegué a sus canciones, fueron los videos de algunas.
Esta es la parte donde este lanzamiento deja de ser solo un álbum con canciones y se convierte en ese lugar metafórico que mencionaba al inicio, Babylon Club, pues, es también un cortometraje📽, una pieza audiovisual que acompaña el lanzamiento y lo eleva a otro nivel.
Se puede ver a Danny Ocean junto con la participación de actores venezolanos y una estética que mezcla lo documental con lo onírico, el filme captura esa sensación de extrañar, de resistir, de adaptarse sin dejar de ser. Todo esto al ritmo de las canciones del álbum.
Para seguir la historia, se deben ver en el siguiente orden de canciones:
El "Babylon Club" que Danny imaginó no es un sitio real. Es un lugar simbólico, un espacio mental al que puedes ir cuando necesitas desconectar, sanar, o simplemente bailar para sobrevivir. Según Danny, es una especie de utopía caribeña donde la gente va a buscar paz, libertad, alegría. Un espacio que representa la posibilidad de vivir sin miedo, sin culpa, sin ruido mental.
En un mundo donde la velocidad lo consume todo, este proyecto nos recuerda que vale la pena detenerse, escuchar, sentir. Y si se puede, bailar.✨

Danny Ocean 🇻🇪 released his new music album on July 31st, 2025, with 14 songs. More than just a musical project, it’s a tropical, human, and emotional experience. And even though I’m not really a big fan of these genres, I walked away with a few favorites, and I was seriously drawn in by what he did with some of the visuals. I’ll talk about that at the end of this post.
First up:
Why Is the Album Called That?
Danny has always used the word “Babylon”—it’s basically his signature catchphrase at this point. In this case, Babylon Club is more of a metaphorical place, a beachside utopia made for relaxing and reminding you that life isn't all about work, it's also beautiful. It sounds like a hug in the form of music. Plus, the album was clearly made with this summer in mind.
Some of the Songs 🎶
Priti
Featuring Sech. It dropped four months ago. This one’s one of my favorites. A delicious mix of Panamanian flavor and beachy vibes. Definitely a song made to dance to.😉
Anoche
Together with Aitana, it brings a nostalgic breeze that wraps around you and leaves you with that feeling of wanting to go back to something you’re not even sure was real or just a dream. This is my second favorite track on the album.💛
Margarita
Musically, it blends Afro-Caribbean rhythms, soft guitars, and a beat that moves you without falling into anything too obvious. I really liked this one too. It perfectly captures that young, chill Caribbean party vibe, like a sunset on the island the song’s named after.
Crayola
This one closes the album with a ton of rhythm. Just like Margarita, it’s not a collab—just Danny trying something different, since this song is actually a merengue🎶. It gives off major Venezuelan family party vibes, like when Wilfrido Vargas is blasting and everyone’s dancing—even if they have no idea how 😅.
About the Visual Side of Things
This is the part where the release stops being just an album with songs and becomes that metaphorical place I mentioned at the beginning, Babylon Club, because it’s also a short film📽—a visual piece that goes along with the music and takes the whole thing to another level.
Directed by Danny Ocean himself, together with Venezuelan actors and an aesthetic that blends documentary with dreamlike vibes, the film captures the feeling of missing something, of resisting, of adapting without losing yourself. All to the rhythm of the album’s tracks.
To follow the storyline, you should watch the songs in this order:
The "Babylon Club" Danny imagined isn’t a real place. It’s a symbolic space, a mental escape you can go to when you need to disconnect, heal, or just dance to stay afloat. According to Danny, it’s a sort of Caribbean utopia where people go to find peace, freedom, joy. A space that represents the chance to live without fear, guilt, or mental noise.
In a world where everything is go-go-go, this project reminds us that it’s worth slowing down, listening, feeling. And if you can, dancing.✨
