🥇VIBES WEEK 1 WINNERS // ANNOUNCEMENT🎵
First of all I want to thank everyone who entered and supported the Vibes music competition. Community support for Vibes has been tremendous and we are extremely humbled by the number of entries submitted.
We had a total of 174 entries.
Judging for week 1 has been very difficult. As stated in one of the previous posts, the judges make a shortlist of 10 entries from which the winners are decided. The first shortlist we made had 40 entries. 😏
Each of these amazing musicians deserve to win the main award, but unfortunately only 6 had to be chosen in the end.
...but, as we like to remind folks.
With Vibes everyone is a Winner!
Our Vibes supporters and curators have distributed more than $5000 USD worth of upvotes for this week. Our hope is that this continues as we intend to make Vibes the biggest web3 music competition on the internet!
With the addition of community voting during week 2 (Week 2 submissions are open), your fans and supporters get to share in our burden. 😍

The Native American flute has somewhat of a timeless quality, evoking images of ancient landscapes and untold stories. Seeing that this is an original composition makes all of it even more impressive.

Congratulations! to the first-place winner @attabotty ! It seemed unique, well-executed, and organized. However, I must confess that the second-place performance left me bewildered. It felt entirely artificial and mediocre, out of tune. the track, fell short. Additionally, the vocal delivery with whispers felt rather perplexing.
