| ¡Hola, mi gente bella de Hive! ¿Cómo me les va? Por aquí apareciendo de nuevo con todo el cariño del mundo para compartirles un poquito de música que sale del corazón. Esta semana, para el Hive Open Mic en su edición número 315, me puse a buscar un tema que tuviera ese "Toque de Luna" que a una le gusta cuando está en los quehaceres de la casa o descansando un ratico por la tarde. Les cuento que escogí "Luna", pero mi versión tiene una historia que les quiero echar. | Hello, my beautiful people of Hive! How are you doing? I'm appearing here again with all the love in the world to share a little bit of music that comes from the heart. This week, for the Hive Open Mic in its 315th edition, I went looking for a song that had that "Moon Touch" that one likes when doing chores around the house or resting for a while in the afternoon. I tell you that I chose "Luna", but my version has a story I want to tell you. |

| Resulta que, aunque el autor de esta canción es el panameño Flex (él fue quien la escribió con ese estilo que pegó hace años), yo no la conocí por él. A mí la que me enamoró fue la versión de Rocío Quiroz. ¡Qué canta muy bonito! Ella es argentina, canta cumbia, y tiene esa voz de barrio, potente y clarita, que le puso un buen gancho. Cuando yo la escuché en su voz, sentí que la canción agarró otra vida, más movida pero igual de sentida, y por eso me animé a traerles mi propia interpretación hoy. | It turns out that, although the author of this song is the Panamanian Flex (he was the one who wrote it with that style that was a hit years ago), I didn't know it through him. The one I fell in love with was the version by Rocío Quiroz. She sings so beautifully! She is Argentine, sings cumbia, and has that neighborhood voice, powerful and clear, that gave it a great hook. When I heard it in her voice, I felt that the song took on another life, more upbeat but just as heartfelt, and that's why I decided to bring you my own interpretation today. |

| Para mí, la música es así: uno la escucha, la siente y la hace suya, sin importar de dónde venga el ritmo. Como buena venezolana, una siempre le pone ese toque de fe, esperanza y de amor a lo que hace, ya sea cocinando un almuerzo para la familia o cantándole a la luna, que es la que siempre nos escucha las penas y las alegrías.
