Greetings, music lovers!

Aside from the lyrics and the beat of a song, one of the things I pay attention to is the story behind the song. I love watching music videos that has sweet storyline especially when the director of the video arranged the details according.
For today's #threetunetuesday powered by @ablaze, I decided to delve deeply into some of those songs with interesting storylines.
Let's go!💪
Golibe by Flavour (2014)
First of all, the director of this video and the brain behind the use of this vocal version of this song did marvellously well. The main version (audio) has a cool, danceable Igbo cultural beat.
The storyline;
In a certain typical village, the Prince of the Land returned home from the city to get married to a daughter of the land. An announcement was made to the community for any interested and eligible lady to come and show her beauty in the village square before the prince, for him to select.
All the damsels of the land heard the news and began to prepare with top-notch rehearsals while the prince was having his best time touring the village, and along the way, he met a lady with a light, shining skin. The girl's name is Golibe, and she didn't know that he's the prince because she's from a low family and not familiar with the royal house.
The day of the selection came, and the king, prince, kingsmen, and all the villagers gathered in the village square. All the Ladies were made to dance out one after the other to demonstrate and show their beauty for the prince to select, but none of them captured the prince's eyes.
Then, just suddenly, the prince sighted Golibe, who had just come to entertain herself, in the midst of a crowd. The prince left his throne and went to the crowd to bring her out. Everyone was surprised because she didn't look like it at all.
They got her dressed in Royal attire, and they got married on the spot.
The song is all about the beauty of Golibe
Cinderella by Olu Maintain and 2face. (2015)
🎶"If you see Mami' water, never never run away"( if you see a mermaid, do not run away).🎶
This is my favourite line in this song, and this line has helped me a lot because I've seen mermaids on different occasions, and I didn't run away.
This storyline;
On Ronke's wedding day, she was dressing in her room when she saw her a news about her on her Tv. Her jealous friends leaked her nude photos on the blog, and when the groom, Samson, saw it, he got heartbroken and ran away from the wedding scene.
Mr. Olu, the groom's friend, began to console him and decided to share his own ordeal as a way to encourage him.
And Mr. Olu's ordeal went this way:
He met a very beautiful girl but didn't know she's a mermaid (yeah, a real mermaid). His female friends told him, but he didn't believe them. The lady would sneak out at night to swim in the swimming pool, and her body would turn into a mermaid, and that was her only means to survive on dry ground.
On their wedding day, when people were gathered in the church, Mr. Olu's female friends decided to expose her, so they brought water and splashed it on her body, and Instantly, her human legs transformed into a fish tail.
But do you know what? Mr. Olu still went ahead to marry her because mermaids are not evil. "If you see a mermaid, do not run away".
*After Mr. Olu narrated his story to Ronke's Groom, He changed his mind and went ahead to marry Ronke even though her nudes were out because Love conquers all!
Amaka by 2face and Peruzzi. (2018)
Amaka is a feminine name in Igbo land. Yes, the name is sweet, no doubt about that, but this song told us a different story about the people with the name Amaka. I'm sure @cheeamaka knew this, which is why she added CHEE to her AMAKA.🧐
The storyline;
A summary...
Amaka was very good at expressing disappointment. She disappointed everyone that came her way,hence the popular line that goes:
🎶"Amaka disappoints me."🎶
Thanks for reading.
All videos were taken from YouTube.
Just why??
Whatever you do, if you've not involved me, you'll not be at peace.
Me I don't disappoint sha. AMAKAs don't disappoint at all.
Meanwhile, I like your selection.
Courtesy of this post, I'd be downloading Golibe again.. it's been a while.
All the AMAKAs that I know disappoint for a living 🤧.
It's what makes them complete🧐
Eyah!
Too bad...😂
