RE: Una porta che ho aperto - A door I've opened (ITA/ENG)

I think it is great that we live in a time where a musician has more choices in how to record and play (Live) their music. Sure, you can still get a band together and have everyone responsible for their thing in the traditional way. But as you said, sometimes there are not that many musicians available. And even if you do find who you need, we all know that band members drop out for random reasons at random times.

Now with the help of computers, some band members can be recreated by technology to some degree. What will happen in the near future as AI and robots are easily obtained? Maybe a band could be one human and 3 robots, and maybe the robots could all be feeding off the energy of a Live show, which they will be able to perceive and measure in many ways, and maybe comparable or better than humans?

A robot could help make decisions about when to shift to the next part of a song, how long a guitar solo should optimally be, and which songs are getting the best audience reaction. They could also try out hundreds of variations in riffs, instrument effects, volume (mixing) and so many more things, collecting data the entire time, and all this data can be optimized in real time as well as post-performance.

It is great to have choices! Solo - cool if that works for you! With an all human band - classic! You and robots - the future is coming on fast! :)

Oh well I'm not a big fan of AI and robots 😅 but that's an interesting future for sure. Btw I have the idea in the future of having maybe a drummer or a performer on stage
