I have met people of such nature, those who can completely sacrifice there dreams just to ensure that others are happy.
They are altruistic and good-natured! We need more of them in this world but like you rightly observed, they must start with loving themselves first. We can only give to others what we have.

I absolutely agree with you. One must learn to love him/herself before extending such love to others
