Ah, yesss, purrfect! ^^
I have exactly something like that that would be highly beneficial.. I would need 'the soothing effects of submerging in water' in musical form, please, authority, timing, and creativity permitting.

Make sure you don't overthink and overanalyze it though. You'll gonna have to step aside and allow just the intention and pure creativity to guide the process.

I can’t promise I’ll actually carry through on making it/them, lol. And I can’t promise any actual results. But hey, it’s an experiment after all…

These are perfectly acceptable terms and conditions. I do love a good experiment though! ^^
Too damn excited about this.. ^^

I had a sense you'd come through on this, lol.

ok... started it... and question, for some custom additions: what are 3 of your favorite songs (with lyrics)?

xD What kind of impossible question is this? xD xD
(spends the whole day going through all the time capsule playlists to compose the favourites of favourites master playlist)
But that's still some 60+ songs or so. How am I to reduce this to 3? :D
I am also disappointed in the 'with lyrics' restriction, as it automatically discards some of the best songs ever (like Cliff Martinez - We Don't Have to Think Like That Anymore; Two Fingers - Fools Rhythm; Daft Punk - Solar Sailer or Derek Feichter - Tribal Dryads just to name a few)
I could go on a whole tangent about my favourite music and my journey with it. 'With lyrics' part also suddenly made me extremely self-conscious about the messaging that I've been programming my subconscious with for decades and looking back it kind of all makes sense, but it is also a bit of a chicken and egg situation - who knows what came first the patterns and thus the gravitational pull towards that kind of music or vice versa..

So the 'short' answer is gonna be -
1. Let's start off with the earliest favourite song of mine that I can recall - Shakespear's Sister - Stay https://open.spotify.com/track/6Mcoqi1iK28djC2EClVwDj?si=67c0dc968d8b4fff (Phantom of the Opera was a reeealy close second, so it appears the 6-ish-year-old me had a definite flair for the dramatic xD)

2. This one for whatever reason is not on Spotify, but it's an absolute masterpiece in my opinion. Blue Foundation - Sweep

I'd even go as far as to say that this 11-minute-long piece is at least a level beyond just music.. it's a whole experience.

3. Annie Lennox has been my emotional comfort music since preteen years, and even though I have a whole separate playlist with her music in the specific order that my brain needs them to be, I kid you not - Waiting In Vain - was my hands down favourite, with Cold coming up a close second. And that was me not understanding the lyrics back then.. xD Chicken. Egg. Go figure.

I'm not sure if this is of any help to you actually but had an absolute blast today sorting through my music and compiling the playlist. If you find it helpful, feel free to check out the full thing, just be forewarned that as a playlist it makes absolutely zero sense unless you've lived as a Josie.. xD You mentioned musical ADHD once.. well.. :D I have put together things that should NEVER be in one playlist.. :D

Welp, at leats I had fun!

Hahaha!

Definitely wasn’t an absolute requirement for just three, nor intended it to be such a serious matter. Lol.

Just had an idea to work with integrating some samples from stuff you particularly like, but didn’t want to limit to just one song in case there wasn’t anything that’d fit so well - thus expanding out the range to select from a bit.

Can surely find something within all this to work with… 🎶💧

I genuinely needed this and I didn't even know it. This was indeed therapeutic. So thank you for the prompt. ^^
