Hello, music lovers from the Vibes community! 💜

We are Clementine and Santiago, together we are Dúo Dø and we create [Genre-free and in-motion music] 🌙

Our music is a fusion of genres, with its roots in Latinamerican Folk music and influenced by Japanese aesthetics ⛩️

We made stories into songs 🎶

This is a song called “El Oso” 🐻 by an Argentine musician called Moris 🇦🇷, submitted for the 1960s theme for week 8 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition 🎵

This is a special song for us because it was the lullaby that our parents sang to us when we were kids. It is warm and with a reflective message about freedom.

These are Clementine's parents during the years they listened the most to this song! They were the ones who inspired us to share something special for the occasion. They also inspire and encourage Clementine to pursue a career in music. 💞

We are grateful to our families, music, and life for providing us with the opportunity to make music for a living! 🙌

This song was composed in 1969, it was part of the album called “Treinta minutos de Vida”.

LYRICS IN ENGLISH

I used to live in the forest very happily
I walked, walked endlessly
The mornings and afternoons were mine
At night, I would lay down to rest

But one day the man came with his cages
He locked me up and took me to the city
In the circus, they taught me tricks
And thus I lost my beloved freedom

'Be content,' an old tiger would tell me
Never lack for shelter and food
They only demand that we perform tricks
And bring joy to the children

Four years have passed in this life
With the circus, I traveled the world like this
But I could never completely forget
My forests, my afternoons, and myself

In a remote little town
Someone didn't lock the padlock
It was a moonless night
And I left the city

Now I step on the ground of my forest
Once again, the green of freedom
I am old, but the afternoons are mine
I return to the forest
I am truly happy!
