AFRITUNES WEEK 178 UGOCHI BY DETERMINATION COVER BY @DOUBLEBLESSING

Hello everyone! This is AfriTunes Week 178, and I’m excited to share my entry with you all. For this week, I performed a very beautiful and amazing song titled “Ugochi” by Determination. This song is one of the most beautiful Igbo songs you’ll come across on the internet today not the best though lolz. The melody of the song is powerful, the message is crystal clear, and the vibe is simply sweet. I really love the way the song flows and how the rhythm connects with what happened in real life, and that gives hands up to many people to understand it easily.

One thing I like about this song Ugochi, is how the writer was able to blend it with tradition andmodern-dayy understanding, that’s to say everyone can listen comprehendn., Determinatio, really nailed it with this one. This song is a very strong message that was communicated to it’s followers andits focuses on relationships. He explains that instead of hiding under trees or sneaking around in secret in the name of love, it’s better to be proud of your relationship and let people know about it. Hiding love only leads to unnecessary shame and secrecy, but if two people are truly in lov,e they should be proud to let the worldknows about it.

Ugochi simply means Godglory inn the Igbo language and the song talks about love and the word of God made us understand that God is love and love is God. So anything we do we should put love firs,t without lov,e the world would never be conducive for humans but love has brought us together to the extent that we can marry fromdifferent parts of the world no minding the language or even the background. That is what love can do.

I was in one relationship like that, but I quit because the guy I was dating said he doesn't want people to know about our relationship, he wanted us to keep it on a low, and I persuaded him to tell me the reason why he want the relationship secret, but he could not give me a tangible answer. That was the end of the relationship because you cannot be introducing me to your friends as just a friend. Thanks so much for taking your time to read through my post.
