A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words (Or, Exactly Fifty): The Man With the Weird Violin (And, a Special Treat)

What I see: a young man with a strange-looking violin -- it's hollow, actually.

What I feel: "Well, that's weird ... never seen a violin like that ... must do research ... OH, I see, and I HEAR!"

(Read to the bottom to hear what I heard)

“Here's a dollar – maybe you can buy a whole violin, boy!”

But an old man stood without heckling and stood instead in awe, seeing a detail many missed:

“On an electric violin, a tone so sweet?”

Concert violinist Pietro Paganini knew an up-and-coming young master when he saw one!

A special treat -- I found him on YouTube!

I have never seen a violin like this, it sounds just as sweet as the other ones.

This is a weird violin but the sounds produced are wonderful indeed. It's nice having to produce such great music by moving the bow across notes. Simply magical indeed. Nicely written @deeanndmathews 🤗
