We'll I feel lucky to have met Ozzy for the first time when he and the family were vacationing in Maui at the 4 Seasons many years ago, I was the designated Coors Light provider, and Maui Wowe provider, for Jack and his friends while they were visiting. Ozzy was a really nice guy, contrary to a lot of other mainstream beliefs.

Years later I got to know his son Jack pretty well when I was living in LA. Jack was best friends with one of my best friends from high school. We didn't get along all the time because he had a temper and always needed to be the center of attention, and was one of those guys that whenever you did something he didn't like he would go straight to threatening to cut you with his blade.

I remember one late night partying with Jack at the Avalon club in Hollywood and he told me to follow him as he grabbed a fire extinguisher off the wall, told me to grab one too, which I did as we proceeded to "extinguish" the club that night with white powdery dust of confusion. Looking back that was one of the stupider things I've ever done, but also a good example of what kind of son Ozzy raised.

Sorry to hear Ozzy is dead, you'd probably be surprised that I just learned it for the first time here reading your post, so that's why I decided to share some of the first memories that came to mind for the sake of posterity.

See you on the other side Ozzy... you will be missed and never forgotten!

Wow, a personal experience that will surely be one to remember and always talk about.
A loss to music, but despite everything, he will be remembered through it.
Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable comment.
