Hola amigos, espero que estén teniendo un hermoso día, hoy me complace traerles un vídeo de lo que fue el concierto de música clásica de la academia Enartes, de la cual formo parte en la catedra de canto popular y canto lírico.

Hello friends, I hope you are having a beautiful day, today I am pleased to bring you a video of what was the classical music concert of the Enartes academy, of which I am part of the popular and lyrical singing department.

En esta ocasión participé con dos canciones muy lindas, las cuales vengo practicando desde hace tiempo y de hecho les había compartido uno de los ensayos. Primero canté Ave Maria de Caccini como solista y con el acompañamiento del ensamble vocal Enartes, que viene siendo el coro de la academia. Esta canción es realmente muy bonita y la vengo practicando desde hace algunos meses, me costó un poco aprender a cantar con la técnica de canto lírico, pero me ayudó mucho mi profesora que me dio las indicaciones para mejorar mi canto.

On this occasion I participated with two very beautiful songs, which I have been practicing for some time and in fact I had shared with you one of the rehearsals. First I sang Ave Maria by Caccini as a soloist and with the accompaniment of the vocal ensemble Enartes, which is the choir of the academy. This song is really very beautiful and I have been practicing it for some months, it was a little difficult for me to learn to sing with the lyrical singing technique, but my teacher helped me a lot by giving me the indications to improve my singing.

También canté Lascia chio Pianga un aria compuesta por Georg Friedrich Händel, esta aria la canté con mi compañera y amiga Leticia Lettieri, que también es nueva en el canto lírico, sin duda fue un reto para nosotros, para mi representó un reto por el idioma, sin embargo mi amiga me ayudó ya que ella es Italiana y sabe el idioma. La profe nos asignó esta canción ya que al yo ser un contratenor y ella una mezzosoprano tenemos voces que son bastante compatibles.

Fue mi primer concierto de canto lírico y me sentí realmente muy orgulloso de como me desenvolví en el escenario, ya que considero que este género queda muy bien con mi tipo de voz. También fue mi primera vez usando un micrófono de manos libres y fue una linda experiencia, solo que si me tenía un poco nervioso porque no dio tiempo de hacer una prueba previa al concierto.

I also sang Lascia chio Pianga an aria composed by Georg Friedrich Händel, I sang this aria with my partner and friend Leticia Lettieri, who is also new to opera singing, it was certainly a challenge for us, for me it was a challenge because of the language, however my friend helped me since she is Italian and knows the language. The teacher assigned us this song since I am a countertenor and she is a mezzo-soprano and we have voices that are quite compatible.

It was my first concert of lyrical singing and I felt really proud of how I performed on stage, as I consider that this genre fits very well with my type of voice. It was also my first time using a hands-free microphone and it was a nice experience, only that I was a little nervous because there was no time to do a pre-concert test.

El concierto fue bastante largo y esto porque no solo nos presentamos los vocalistas, sino que también se presentaron los pianistas, violinistas, la orquesta rítmica y entre otras participaciones. En el vídeo comparto algunas de las participaciones de cada una de las cátedras.

Estoy orgulloso de mi porque di lo mejor de mi en el escenario, y si, puede que hayan algunos detalles ya que soy un ser humano y estaba un poco nervioso, sin embargo hice lo posible y entregué lo mejor de mi y espero que se note. Estoy agradecido y feliz de formar parte de la academia Enartes por la calidad musical que ofrece en cada uno de sus conciertos y por preparar a los alumnos con disciplina y con mucho cariño también. Estoy consciente de todo lo que he mejorado en estos últimos meses, sin embargo también se que me falta mucho por aprender, lo que me pone aún más emocionado, ya quiero seguir aprendiendo y mejorando y obviamente ir documentándoles mi evolución aquí en hive.

The concert was quite long and this because we not only presented the vocalists, but also the pianists, violinists, the rhythmic orchestra and among other participations. In the video I share some of the participations of each of the chairs.

I am proud of myself because I gave the best of me on stage, and yes, there may be some details because I am a human being and I was a little nervous, but I did my best and I hope it shows. I am grateful and happy to be part of the Enartes Academy for the musical quality it offers in each of its concerts and for preparing the students with discipline and with much affection as well. I am aware of all that I have improved in these last months, however I also know that I still have a lot to learn, which makes me even more excited, I want to continue learning and improving and obviously documenting my evolution here in hive.
