Hey there, music lovers! Today, I want us to take a journey deep within ourselves and explore the profound connection we share with music. Have you ever wondered what kind of melodies and beats resonate with your soul? For some people, they are in love with one style of music, while others span the genre spectrum. No matter what you listen to, let it resonate deep inside your mind!

Unveiling the Melodic Tapestry

Music is a universal language that speaks to our emotions at the deepest levels. Each genre, like a unique thread, weaves a melodic tapestry that colors the canvas of our lives. From the soulful sounds of R&B to the hard hitting rhythms of rock, the choices seem endless. But what is it about a particular genre that strikes a chord within us?

The Rhythm of Memories

Think about the songs that transport you to another time and place. The ones that bring back memories as vivid as a photograph. Whether it's the song that played during your first dance or the anthem of a memorable road trip, music has the power to encapsulate moments in a timeless embrace. What are the tracks that stir your memories and evoke a sense of nostalgia?

The Lyrics that Echo Your Story

Lyrics have an uncanny ability to articulate the unspoken emotions we carry within. It’s like the songwriter reached into the depths of our souls and put our feelings into words. What are the verses that echo your personal narrative? Whether it’s the poetic expressions of a classic folk song or the raw emotions of a hip-hop song, lyrics can be the mirror that reflects our innermost thoughts in ways we never really recognize.

Beats that Move Your Feet

Sometimes, it’s not about the words but the beats that get your body grooving. The infectious rhythm of a drum, the pulse of a bassline—these elements can speak directly to our primal instincts. What kind of beats make your feet tap involuntarily? Do you like the steady 4x4 rhythm, hard hitting rock drums, or do you get down to some funky break beats? For me the beat is the pulse of the music, which inturn becomes the pulse of my existence, at least for those few minutes.

Finding Your Musical Identity

In this vast musical landscape, finding your musical identity is a personal and ongoing journey. It’s not about conforming to a trend but discovering what truly resonates with your soul. So, what kind of music drives your soul? Is it the soothing melodies of jazz, the rebellious spirit of punk, or the euphoric sound of electronic dance music? Embrace the diversity of your musical taste and let the melody of your soul play on.

As we navigate this journey through the sounds that move us, remember that there’s no right or wrong answer. The beauty of music lies in its subjectivity. So, whether you find solace in the soft tunes or songs that make you slam your head, let your soul be your guide in this harmonious journey.

Happy New Year! :)

My music journey:

I was around 5 years old (1984-85), when my father played to me Jean Michel Jarre from a tape deck and said to me: "this is electronic music" :)
Well he used to be the first local DJ in town...they say.. one before him came from the sea side...
Making the long story short, we've always had a lot of audio equipment (not only) around us. Me and my younger brother were part of our father's entertainment business. He was involved in almost any genre of music, not only it was required by the type of work, but he liked ever good track, that people also love! :)
Eventually in the late 90's I became a DJ too (my brother as well) :)
We used to be organizing local club events with #techno music. You know #raves :P
Then we started to explore the sub genres of electronic music. Also playing house and trance sometimes at the events.
Around 2010 I fell in love with psytrance :) not I didn't know about it before :)
My first acid trip on the NYE 2000 was in a very big club with magnificent psychedelic music. I was also on the Love Parade 2000 :)
Between the years 2007-2012 we were organizing a free open-ar festival up in the mountain with DJ friends from all around the country. Many people still miss the gig :|
Nowadays I'm still mostly enjoying all varieties of #psytrance. But I listen to chill-out, ambient, dub and many others. I still like #techno and #tribal too!

let's play two types of music that I listened to most recently:

Have fun & stay tuned to your own vibe! ;)
