Collecting Music as Art- The Rise of Music NFTs

collecting music like art with music nfts.jpeg

It's no secret that music has always been a form of art. From the days of vinyl records to cassette tapes, music has been collected, cherished, and passed down through generations. But with the rise of digital music and streaming services, the concept of collecting music as a physical object has become a thing of the past.

Enter NFTs, which is short for non-fungible tokens. NFTs are a new way to collect, own, and trade digital art, and they're quickly changing the way we think about collecting music.

What are NFTs?

NFTs are digital assets that are unique and cannot be replaced by another identical item. They're created using blockchain technology, which is the same technology that powers cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Each NFT is a one-of-a-kind digital asset that is verified on the blockchain, making it a true original.

How Do NFTs Apply to Music?

NFTs are being used to create unique, collectible versions of digital music. Artists can now create limited edition versions of their music, which can be bought and sold like traditional art. NFTs also allow artists to include additional digital assets, such as exclusive artwork, merchandise, and even concert tickets, making them even more valuable to collectors. Another use case is using them to give the owner limited reproduction or royalty free rights. This can include a license to use the art in their own creations like using it as background music for a video, advertisement, etc.

The Benefits of Collecting Music as NFTs

Collecting music as NFTs has many benefits for both artists and collectors. For artists, NFTs provide a new revenue stream that doesn't rely on streaming services or physical sales. It also allows artists to connect directly with their fans and collectors.

For collectors, NFTs provide a way to own a piece of music history and support their favorite artists. NFTs also have the potential to appreciate in value, making them a valuable addition to any collection. The more rare the NFT, the more valuable it can become!

The Future of Music Collecting

The use of NFTs in music is still in its early stages, but it's clear that it has the potential to revolutionize the way we think about collecting music. As more artists and musicians adopt NFTs, we can expect to see a wider range of collectible music available.

In conclusion, NFTs are a game-changer for the music industry and provide a new way for music lovers to collect and own their favorite tunes. It's exciting to see the possibilities that this technology can bring to the world of music. It's a new way to appreciate and support our favorite artists, and it brings the idea of collecting music back to the forefront of our minds.

If you know a struggling artist, invite them to check out how they can mint music as NFTs and start earning with their art in a whole new way!

I keep on discovering new and interesting projects here on Hive. Music is definitely one of the things that keeps the world turning; music NFTs might be the game changer that will revolutionize this generation of musicians. Hey @deythedevil, is this something you and your band will be interested in? !LUV this project.

Welcome bro. If you open the blocktunes site, you can check out some of the music and NFTs that is already available. Also, you might be able to sign into the PRO Artist and release your own music here. What's really cool is you also get to earn $music tokens in the blog interface. Good luck and hope to see some of your music here. !PIZZA

Ok. Thank you.

I hope someone sell me $MUSIC on hive-engine.

I'm the one who's buying @ 0.0071

I really need it to start my journey.

Is 300+ $MUSIC would be enough to start minting music nft?

You need to have 100 MUSIC staked then it's a 10 MUSIC fee to whitelist. After that it's 4 MUSIC base fee plus 1 MUSIC for every edition. So if you are doing 100 editions of the song, then you would need 104 MUSIC tokens to mint them after getting whitelisted. So 300 would get you started for sure!

I updated my HP delegation. I added another 100 HP so that even when no one sell me their $MUSIC in 10 days, I can register to the platform. Then after 20 days, I can mint some of my music.
