I'm sorry to hear about the medical emergency, it's nice of you to help out. What a lovely view you had though!
I hope you partner's dog is ok, I imagine he would be quite concerned about his pet however it gave you some more time to find some rest for yourself and that's not all bad.

I completely agree. Personally, I love having time alone, although I also love being with certain people sometimes.
As for the dog, well, he hasn't shown much improvement, but we're still doing everything we can to help him get better.
