Inspiration that awakens the inner child 👑

A few days ago, Three Kings Day was celebrated in many parts of the world, in some much more than in others. And here in Spain since I arrived I realised how important this holiday is, it seems that in some parts it is even more important than Christmas itself.

The 5th of January is a big day, as the great Cabalgata de Reyes takes place. The Three Wise Men are received at the town hall and after a few acts, a parade of floats begins, which has impressed me since the first day I saw them.

This is the third year that I have been there to see the floats go by, and although the parade was scheduled to start at 6 p.m., from the point where I was, it was not until 7.15 p.m. that I began to see the great parade.

It was very windy that day, very rare here in Malaga, so the sound of the music dissipated a lot, but you can still hear something.

This great event, not only consists of floats, which I admire for the art they contain, but between each of them, there are bands playing music, people in costume dancing and much more.

I positioned myself at the end of a curb in the street to be a little higher to be able to film, but there were so many people that it was difficult at times.

You could hear the drums, the sound of different instruments, trumpets, but above all you could hear the most beautiful sound, which was the laughter and voices of the children.

Besides the sounds of nature, laughter and children's voices, I think it is the best music in the world. That laugh out loud smile that can make even the most serious person laugh.

They spread that joy and these beautiful floats, their decorations, the background music, and the screams of the children asking for sweets, all together create an atmosphere that awakens the child in you.

All this festive atmosphere inspires us to look inwards to that child who is perhaps hidden, who we don't often let out and who enjoys these little big things in life.

The reality is that when I finished filming, I looked at the videos and said to myself, but where is the music I listened to? And I realized that it had been replaced by something more powerful, the children, the most valuable thing that this world has and that we have to take care of.

They with their parents and a lot of other people were there to enjoy the magic that this day generates, and also for the candy. There is no denying that. But seeing the happy faces of those children admiring the Kings, the colors, the lights, the music, was very contagious and that is what inspired, I believe, in all of us who were gathered there.

I remembered a song about this festivity for the children and that accompanies very well all this event and the feeling that it generates in the hearts.

Regardless of religion, ideology, whether it is celebrated or not, the important thing is the joy of those little ones who looked with such illusion at those giants, for them they are giants and important.

That illusion that many of us had as children allows us to make a trip at that age. The laughter, shouts and voices of the little ones flooded the streets of the city that day and generated a unique vibration.

There should be more days like this and that joy is always contagious for everyone in the world.
