Night call is the theme song from The amazing movie Drive. Nightcall was released in 2011 as part of the soundtrack to the movie Drive, I recommend you watch the movie and listen to this song, and if you haven't already you'll be amazed.

The movie Drive had an amazing soundtrack. I remember seeing this movie on video as it was the smaller independent film and I was blown away. Drive came out during the Great Recession in 2011 when the recovery was taking place. It's a fantastic action film and if you like the movie Baby Driver you'll love this film. One thing about the soundtrack is that most of the songs are very peaceful and melodic while the movie is incredibly action-packed and violent. Ryan Gosling does a great job playing a getaway driver on a mission, and he breaks the mold of his usual characters that he plays in this role.

Kavinskys Nightcall is a song I still play and listen to after more than a decade. This melodic EDM song captures my attention and it's worth a listen. The smooth hypnotic vocals always bring me back to this time period during the recovery.

It's amazing how music is like a time machine. The older I get, the more each song means to me. I'll be listening to a song and it will bring back a flood of memories. This song is no exception and every time I hear it my mind wanders backwards. Growing up my parents would hear songs from the 1950s and tell me that it brought back waves of memories and now I can relate. For me songs from the 1990s and 2000s really bring me back, and this song does too.

Music itself has that ability to put us in at ease. The Melody of the song is a contrast to the movie Drive, which is action-packed. Give this song a listen and I guarantee you that it'll be on your playlist.
