Play and Fight

Hello friends, it had been too long since I published, the constant rhythm of creating good content has escaped me, we start again and this time I will tell you what I experienced in a meeting of the region's orchestras.

I play the viola in the small youth orchestra of my town, we all had to prepare quite difficult pieces, good for the strings, I would say, well, almost all of us are not used to having such a long and difficult repertoire, it was quite hard. I had to manage as best I could, since we had little time to prepare for the meeting, we rehearsed the 1812 overture and Beethoven's fifth symphony.

With the 1812 overture my lectern partner and I were able to survive even though we were confused with each other's arcades, at one point one of us always ended up with a different arcade. (I'm sure it was me)

The most difficult thing was about Beethoven's symphony, although the same motif is repeated throughout the whole, the famous tatata taaa hard not to get lost in the entrances, you know the ones for the first violin, then the second and then the viola, you have to tell it well and keep an eye on that post. The last part we went crazy because the previous movements are in a minor key and the last movement is in a major and we couldn't help but play the flats of the previous scale.

Well, at least we survived that match I can say we got massacred, but at least it was a fun and exciting experience and we definitely need to prepare better for the next match and not be so lost and not have to go through those same mistakes.

On the bus back, we all laughed at what we did, but it was good for the first time we've participated. I want to finish with the sentence about the orchestra system, which is to play and fight.
