Espero que estéis disfrutando la ola de calor y, por supuesto, de Rising Star Game.

El Universo se encuentra repleto de estrellas, donde no podía faltar la emblemática estrella Rising Star, estrellas que transmiten emociones conectadas con la música y con el arte en general.  

Podemos detectar la alegría o la tristeza en una persona solo con el sonido de su voz. Es decir, asociamos la tristeza a un tono de voz más bajo y grave de lo normal y lo opuesto con la alegría. Ocurre lo mismo con la música.

Al escuchar música las neuronas espejo que actúan reflejando las acciones e intenciones de los otros como si fueran propias.

De esta forma podemos sentir el dolor de los otros, su alegría, su tristeza, … Quizás por esto la música es capaz de alterar nuestras emociones y crear lazos sociales; porque nos permite compartir sentimientos.

Las emociones son las encargadas de convertir los sonidos que percibimos en algo comprensible. Sin ser conscientes asociamos los sonidos que apreciamos, por sutiles que puedan ser, con las emociones. Esta asociación sonido-emoción hace que entendamos las situaciones en las que estamos, permitiéndonos reaccionar acorde al contexto.

Cartas Rising Star como las siguientes, también nos traen importantes recuerdos de determinada música y músicos:

En esta ocasión hablamos de Coldplay, extraordinaria banda británica de pop rock alternativo formada en Londres  en 1997. Integrada por Chris Martin (voz y piano), Jonny Buckland (guitarra), Guy Berryman (bajo), Will Champion (batería y voz secundaria).

Con más de 100 millones de álbumes vendidos en todo el mundo, Coldplay es la banda con más éxito del siglo XXI, también de las más premiadas de la historia. Tienen tres de los 50 álbumes más vendidos en el Reino Unido y la mayor cantidad de discos número uno en el país sin perder nunca la cima. Convertido en el primer grupo británico en debutar en el número uno en el Billboard Hot 100.

Desde The Scientist hasta A head full of dreams pasando por Yellow el grupo londinense no ha dejado de publicar música romántica y emotiva desde su creación.

Trouble, canción de Coldplay trata de una persona que se da cuenta demasiado tarde de que se ha metido en algo realmente malo y no puede salir. Se da cuenta de que llegó allí hiriendo gravemente a otra persona y trata de disculparse con ella. El grupo la compuso y coprodujo con Ken Nelson para su álbum debut, Parachutes.

Así como en “Yellow” se repite en la letra dicha palabra, en “Trouble” sucede lo mismo. La letra, de la cual se afirmó que posee un estilo minimalista, se basa en “temas emocionales delicados” tales como pedir disculpas, amor no correspondido y nostalgia.

“Trouble” está construida sobre la base de un acompañamiento de piano y otro muy suave de caja, que se vuelve casi inaudible cuando ingresa la guitarra.

The Universe is full of stars, including the iconic Rising Star, stars that convey emotions connected to music and art in general.

We can detect happiness or sadness in a person just by the sound of their voice. In other words, we associate sadness with a lower, deeper tone of voice than normal, and the opposite with happiness. The same thing happens with music.

When listening to music, mirror neurons act by reflecting the actions and intentions of others as if they were one's own.

In this way, we can feel the pain of others, their joy, their sadness, and so on. Perhaps this is why music is able to alter our emotions and create social bonds; because it allows us to share feelings.

Emotions are responsible for converting the sounds we perceive into something comprehensible. Without realizing it, we associate the sounds we appreciate, however subtle they may be, with emotions. This sound-emotion association helps us understand the situations we find ourselves in, allowing us to react accordingly.

Just as "Yellow" features a repeated word in the lyrics, the same thing happens in "Trouble" The lyrics, which were described as having a minimalist style, are based on "sensitive emotional themes" such as apology, unrequited love, and nostalgia.

"Trouble" is built on a piano accompaniment and a very soft snare drum accompaniment, which becomes almost inaudible when the guitar enters.
