The Power of Music
Hey dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you had a great start to the new weekend! In this post, I would like to talk a little about music and will try to go into a little more detail about the powerful effects.
For thousands of years, music has been used for different ritual purposes and already in old cultures, it was known that you could achieve different effects with the right frequencies and even put people in a trance state and it was also used as an instrument to heal people. In this age, people can almost no longer get past music and almost everywhere you are, music plays and influence people more than some might suspect and in different areas they make very specific use of music to create certain effects and music greatly changes the perception and also the behavior is shaped by it and it is often possible to dissolve all kinds of feelings with different tones. Music is used very specifically to influence people and a good example are advertising purposes where it is about influencing the emotions of the consumer with certain music so that people make targeted purchasing decisions and in pretty much all economically relevant areas music is used and which kind always depends individually on the goal you want to achieve with it. Often silent tones are used and a good example are in department stores where quiet music is played in the background and here music is specifically used which should increase the willingness to buy or in commercials where music is installed to match the marketed product and usually is also combined with subliminal messages such as certain songs that should deliver a message to the listener and the advantage is that when music is used as a tool, everyone understands this and regardless of the nationality you can reach pretty much everyone as a target group. Another good example is the use in films where it is about playing music in the end of a sad film that can reinforce the feelings and make people even more sad and exactly the same applies to other genres where music is used to generate reactions and to influence the viewer very subliminally. Certain music can also create an aggressive behavior or have a calming effect on the body and depending on the situation that currently prevails, the wrong music can also amplify feelings and create stress and interesting is also the effect on the subconscious where these sounds are deeply stored and also linked to certain events or places where you were and if you liked a song, the probability is higher that you will hear it again. You can also use the power of music to program yourself in a certain direction, for example, to get more energy or to influence the learning behavior and with the right frequencies, it is specifically possible to influence certain areas of the brain and trigger all kinds of emotions.
Thanks a lot for the visit and I hope you could learn something new about music! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens.
