Never Feel Nuthin' : Hip-Hop
I know shit about hip hop, but like Rick Rubin, I trust my taste. So I did about 2hr of research breaking down top songs in the genre; every detail including the vocal styles. Then I fed all this into a Super Grok project (preloaded with all Suno commands/tricks) with the styling I was looking for; which gave me a solid music prompt for Suno to translate what I was after.
The lyrics were the hardest part, cuz ... I know shit about hip hop and I know even less about todays slang. So a lot of the time was spent just finding what slang words are popular, what they meant and then trying to write a song around them while being an old white dude, which is not easy and I don't even know if I succeeded. 😜
From there I fed some samples into a custom model on Suno along with the music direction prompt, the lyrics, vocal styling, etc. After 12 generations I picked the best of the bunch.
