Fantasy Forest and getting ready for the busiest time of the year!

We hope this Trouble Note finds you well!

The past few weeks have been filled with wonderful adventures, and a lot of time spent on the road in places with very limited internet access. As we write this, we're sitting backstage at the Horizonte Festival, looking out over the beautiful city of Koblenz and finally catching up on some much-needed communication.

Since we last posted here, a lot has happened.

We spent the first three weeks of July in the UK, split between creative time in Cornwall and festival performances. We started the month with a performance at Folk in a Field in Norfolk before making our way down to Cornwall for another show at a very familiar place: Haywood Farm Cider.

It's incredible how the community in Bodmin has grown around us. Every time we return, it feels a little less like a tour stop and a little more like coming home. Haywood is starting to feel like one of our hometown gigs, and that's a very special feeling.

After a few quiet days in Devon, we continued on to Somerset for two performances at Buddhafield.

What a wonderfully wholesome experience.

Two days of camping, healing, conversations, and inspiration during the day... followed by absolutely blowing the roof off the tent at night. We were greeted by wild dance parties and so many familiar faces from Totnes, Green Gathering, and Glastonbury. It reminded us just how connected this community has become over the years.

From there we travelled north to Sudeley Castle and stepped once again into the realm of Fantasy Forest.

The very first face we saw was our dear friend Guy Clifford, which felt like the perfect welcome.

The weekend was another reminder of just how deep this community runs.

We played two high-energy afternoon shows while everyone baked together in the summer sun (mid-afternoon shows and The Trouble Notes should probably never be allowed to go together...). We paid tribute to our late friend Sir Johnny Mason the Rebellious with a completely improvised shenanigan during one of the performances. We spent time filming with Bryan and Stefanie around the festival grounds, shared countless conversations, and met so many wonderful new people who will undoubtedly become part of this ever-growing family.

It's inspiring to watch Fantasy Forest continue to flourish.

And now...

We're entering the busiest stretch of the entire summer.

This weekend begins with Horizonte Festival, followed by three more festival performances in Germany before we make the journey north to Wacken Open Air.

Wacken is one of the most legendary rock festivals in the world, the spiritual home of rock and metal, and somewhere we've dreamed of performing for a very long time. This will be our first appearance there, and we'll be performing across four days in the Wasteland and Wackinger Village. It's an incredible opportunity to introduce Echoes of Eldbriaris to an entirely new audience, and we're beyond excited to see how the rock and metal community responds.

We probably won't even have time to process the experience before we're back on the road again.

Immediately afterwards we'll head to the Netherlands for the Sunday night closing performance at Castlefest, a show we've genuinely been looking forward to all year. Then, without much time to catch our breath, we'll wrap up this incredible run with a performance at Sommerwerft Festival in Frankfurt.

The next two weeks are going to be absolutely wild.

And honestly...

We wouldn't have it any other way.
