I dunno why, but for some reason I'm into a musical rampage this week.
Gee! Does this happen to you too? Because when it happens to me, it usually always happens at midnight. I guess it's because everything around is always quieter and silent at these hours here on the top of the mountain where I live and the usual orchestra of crickets, frogs and toads that sing at night are more strident and audible and way too often they remind me of a multitude of good old songs to share with you here. Anyway, I hope you enjoy of these musical jewels as much as I do. Sweet dreams and see you tomorrow.
Sheesh! well... then I suppose it must be better go back to my cave right away, to my usually primitive and cranky state to see if after a few hours of restful and energizing sleep this strange sensation of musical rampage and sudden euphoria will go away.
At least it's a bunch of happy frogs, friendly music and no rage against the machine stuff profoundly circulating everywhere.
Yes, that's right babe. It's a bunch of happy frogs and friendly memorable old music which I suspect everyone would want to hear, enjoy and treasure in their memory forever. So, stay always ready for these unforgettable experiences.
Because actually, who would want to recall the rage against the machine that always appears out of nowhere and come to us without even calling or invoking them, eh? Hahaha
Here babe, enjoy now this happy and friendly one released of around September 30, 1969.
That sure brought back memories. There's only one time I heard the longer version of that song and that was back in my twenties when I use to go out to the bar and dance. I never had any set pattern or dance methods, just never missed a beat with those feet, lol. One particular band had gotten use to me coming in there and I think they played that long version to see if I would actually hang that long for one song.
Oh yeah, I assumed that long old classic rock & funky song should have bring you some good memories one way or another. Since I suspect that many here already know that we are not chicks just hatched from the shell. LoL
If you only knew that for me the best recording and long version of this legendary song was the one that was recorded and performed live at Jacksonville, Florida - Civic Coliseum; Miami, Florida in 1971. And which is only included in the double vinyl album of the olive green backpack. Because the true, more funky and groovy version of this song does not even appear in the edition that of this famous album was issued on CDs.
Ha, just let me tell you that when I used to play it at my clandestine parties as DJ a long time ago, this song was always so funky and groovy that it not only filled the dance floor when I played it, but I could then mix it with other long rock classics like Iron Butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida and Eric Burdon & War Tobacco Road followed by Santana's Soul Sacrifice in a row to end up with Ten Years After I'm Going Home Live and have them all sweating for more than a hour on the dance floor without any of them daring to stop or abandon my funky drubbing no matter how tired or sweaty they were.
Oh yeah, I believe you. I even can imagine you not missing a step at one of my old, legendary and wild parties even nowadays.

Ah, those smart and lustful guys who wanted to see you dancing and shaking all your assets for more than twenty minutes at a time. LoL
Well babe, I hope I didn't stir up your dance memories too much today and that you're going to accuse me later of making you lose too much weight over the weekend with all the wriggling and sweating.
Cheers! :)
Is that really you putting on those moves in that video, lol, not missing a beat whoever it is.
Nope, he is not me or I am him. But I swear I'm also one of those who doesn't miss a beat when I'm on it either.
Little too much TMI in that last comment, lol.
¿TMI? like... ¿Treat Me Immoderately?
