Afri Inleo Initiative 23 - Competency Playing Major in Music

Its another edition of the afritunes inleo initiative which is already at week 23, what a great progress in the community from time to time. So what are we dwelling on this time around for the new week topic? It is the role of competency in our music life and when we talk about competency, we are actually talking about giving room for progress and betterment because anywhere there is competency be it an organisation or a work there will surely be a positive result as the pay-back. Now lets us link the competency in the aspect of music which has a major role to play in our lives and this is not talking about everyone generally but this is dealing with personal musically.

Now i will be talking about this role of competency one after the other and i will love you guys to follow till the end of the post. Talking about the aspect of skills, muaically we know that is directed to personal work and improvement so lets use the instrument as an example where two friends are having the interest in learning a certain instrument and both of them enroll in a music school to continue their exploration, no matter how that music school might be, if those student are not of good competence, they will gradually lose interest in the aspect of personal practice which is a key factor of improving when playing the instrument.

Competency allow one to master a certain style of music. Just like someone who wanted to become a jazz player and really focus on it by listening to various jazz music, also rehearsing almost every time in the jazz way, definitely there will surely be room for improvement and that will bring about perfection in the jazz style which that person really cherish. After the aspect of rehearsing and constant practice, there is this thing we call creativity which comes after competency in music, still using the example of the determined jazz player who always listen to different jazz music and those things already become part of him and anytime he is been called to make some arrangement in the jazz style definitely he will be able to come up with different things which is called creativity and that has helped a lot in music generally.

Now lets look at another role of competency in music, there is no how you will see someone who is competent in music and has really improved in so many ways without seeing people who want to tag along, This brings about connection between musicians because that shows level between various music personalities and it makes one be able to be among congregation of top people musically due to competency. Once that word set in anywhere you will surely see that improvement will come in and this make one be able to decide where he or she want to go and cannot just go to anyhow place without class and standard. It is different from someone just trying to get his or her place. Music is indeed theraupetic.
