AFRI-TUNE WEEK 148 ©®{RAHAMA (Mercy) by Kaestrings} cover /∆\ @johndoy0
Hello, wonderful people!
I am so excited to welcome you to the year 2025 and the very first month of this new year. It's Afri-tune Week 248! This week, I’ll be doing a cover of Rahama (Mercy), a beautiful song by Kaestrings. It’s one of his most popular and impactful hits, often sung by many on various occasions. However, I’ve chosen to sing it not because of its popularity but because of God’s mercies.
Reflecting on how last year started and how it ended, I can confidently say I didn’t make it into this new year by my own strength—it was purely God’s mercy.
Last year was filled with hopes, expectations, and goals, some of which I didn’t achieve. Yet, despite my shortcomings and moments when I betrayed Him, God showed up time and time again with His mercies. He never gave up on me.
The dictionary defines mercy as "the kindness that makes you forgive someone, especially when you have authority over them." I often imagine: if God were a man, people like me would have been cut off long ago. But God doesn’t think or act like man. He shows kindness even to the worst of us, always calling us back to Him, no matter how far we’ve strayed.
O Lord
My God
All that i want
Is your touch
My faith
Is heightened
On this mountain
To drink from your love
Oh... Yesu, Mai Rahama (Jesus, the merciful one)
Ji addua ta (please hear my prayer)
Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you)
Yesu, Mai Rahama (Jesus, the merciful one)
Ga hawaye na (here is my cry)
Ban da wani sai Kai (i have no one but you)
Oh oh oooo
Oh oh oooo
Oh oh oooo
Oh oh oooo

Thank you for stopping by my blog. May this year be filled with God’s blessings and mercy for you.
Happy New Year!
