Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog!
It’s another beautiful moment, and I’m thrilled to be here once again. This is AfriTunes Week 165, and I go by the name Anniebest, as many of you already know. I’m super excited to share my rendition for this week!

For this week’s entry, I’ll be presenting a cover of the powerful gospel song titled “Tobechukwu” by the renowned Nigerian gospel artist, Nathaniel Bassey. The word Tobechukwu is from the Igbo language, and it simply means “God be praised.” It’s such a beautiful and uplifting declaration, and this song has truly made a lasting impact on my life.

Every line in the song speaks deeply to my soul and gives me countless reasons to praise God. The first verse reminds us that God hears us even before we call on Him. He is always ready to provide for us, not expecting anything in return. That alone puts a smile on my face and reassures me that I have a God who never fails, one who provides without shaming or condemning.

The second verse goes even deeper, emphasizing how Christ bore our shame and gave us victory ahead of time. No matter what challenges we may face, we already have the assurance of triumph through Him.

Beyond the melody and lyrics, this song lifts my spirit daily and reminds me of God’s endless love. I sincerely hope this rendition blesses someone out there just as it has blessed me.
