Kiss 91 - BREAKING FREE
When you think of mood swings I should be that one person that should come to your mind because my mood easily changes even when I don't even notice it. Sometimes it's just so hard to get myself back to where I want to be but then I've discovered a few tricks that works like magic and the good part is they are not so hard at all! So if you like, you can read on to learn what those tricks are....
Prior to now, I normally get these mood swings especially when I don't see myself doing anything useful with the time I have and also when I'm losing my ova (if you know you know). But lately it comes more often than I can even count but the then I recently learned how to deal with it. These tricks are simple and I believe they are something that can work for anyone.
- Communication
(It can be anyone even a stranger)
Whenever I notice a mood swing, one of the things I hate doing at this time is talking to someone especially the person that might have caused my mood to change. So what I do at this point is to talk with someone that I know won't get me mad easily and most times that person is someone I don't know too much but I'm friends with somehow. I do believe that communication is one of the most powerful weapons to get one to be themselves as much as they should.
Having someone to talk to always works like magic but then it's the hardest for me. Like I said I hate talking when I'm having mood swings but once I do, it runs away. I know so many people can relate with that and I also hope they can give this trick a try and see if it works for them too. As for those who don't have mood swings, good for you then.
- Taking a nap
Well, sometimes when I'm having mood swings and I try so hard to talk to someone and I just can't, I try to take some time out and rest because it might be stress, hehe. I try to rest and once I wake up, I naturally just feel a lot better. Everything about me just happens to improve and that includes my mood. The truth is sometimes taking a nap is also just impossible depending on the mood you're in and also depending on your environment so at this point I try out the first trick or the next 👇.
- Find something entertaining to do
The next thing I've tried and worked is listening to some good music, reading a book/article or watching movies. I know some people don't like listening to music, reading a book or even watching movies but it's hard to not like at least one of them. So at a time when I have mood swings, I either see a movie or listen to music or I come to Hive to read some really good posts and it works like magic too.
After doing any of the above mentioned tricks, any of them, my mood is normally improved and I'm very sure it will work for you too. They are simple and they don't require so much from us, except when we try to overthink about them and it's just not possible for them to work. Having mood swings is something that has to do with the mind and all of the things I've mentioned somehow all have a connection to our minds.
I do have some other things that I do to improve my moods but then they are just so random that I can't even remember them and that's because it only happens when my mood swing is not so obvious. I'm very sure everyone has his or her own unique way of dealing with mood swings and it would be nice to hear yours.

Lol, well those tips has limits. You just have to know when you've exceeded your limit and wait till it recharges.

Talking I think can work for everyone. Everyone has their own way of verbalizing their discomfort, it's true. But if we have a non-judgmental ear we can express ourselves freely and release the pressure. Maybe something similar happens with sleeping. After doing so, we usually see things in a broader and calmer way. That's a good help. I liked your photos. Regards @hopestylist

You've got great ways of overcoming this mood changes of a thing.
Taking a nap is one of mine too, but communicating isn't really my thing, so unlike you I then to spend some alone time to fix my mind back.
Well of that's what works for you I don't think it's that bad after all. I know how hard it can be to share your problem with someone so it's totally relatable.
