Die With a Smile - Bruno Mars & Lady Gaga (Cover) by @yisusth
It's a pleasure to share #MusicalMonday with the Music community. Today I'm sharing my trumpet performance of "Die With a Smile," a pop-soul song composed by Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Dernst Emile II, James Fauntleroy, and Andrew Watt. You know that when several artists combine to create something, the result is supreme and also a success. I love the sound of the synthesizers with a rhythmic base of funk grooves. The lyrics talk about how love can be resilient in the face of adversity. We can unite in our pursuit of happiness and with the purpose of overcoming crises and dark moments. I'm a fan of Bruno Mars and I'm very happy that he has teamed up with Lady Gaga to convey a message of hope amidst the chaos existing in today's world. The score I found seemed very curious because the time signature is 6/8, although I presume it was originally written in 4/4. Some of the time jumps surprised me, especially the part where Lady Gaga sings, which is much more dramatic and tense.

Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Die With a Smile», una canción pop soul compuesta por Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Dernst Emile II, James Fauntleroy, y Andrew Watt. Ya saben ustedes que cuando se combinan varios artistas para hacer algo, el resultado es supremo y a su vez un éxito. Me encanta cómo suenan los sintetizadores con una base rítmica de grooves funk. La letra habla cómo el amor puede ser resiliente frente a la adversidad. Podemos unirnos en nuestra búsqueda de la felicidad y con el propósito de superar la crisis y los momentos oscuros. Yo soy fan de Bruno Mars y me alegra mucho que se haya unido a Lady Gaga para transmitir un mensaje de esperanza en medio del caos existente en el mundo actual. La partitura que encontré me pareció muy curiosa, porque la cifra indicadora de compas es 6/8, aunque presumo que originalmente fue escrita en 4/4. Algunos saltos interválicos me sorprendieron, sobre todo la parte que canta Lady Gaga, que es mucho más dramática y tensa.
No easy path leads to happiness, fulfillment, and lasting satisfaction. I remember once hiking, and we hiked more than 90 kilometers through the mountains. It wasn't an easy task; we fell a few times, and we even got lost. Fortunately, we had a GPS and were able to get back on the right path. It probably would have been easier to take a bus and skip the trip. Despite the challenges, we received some rewards, including breathing fresh air, enjoying nature, and physical exercise. I know that effort, honest work, and integrity transform us and prepare us for better things. With the advent of AI, we've seen that work has been made easier for many, but there are some who abuse this tool, neglecting effort and authenticity. There is nothing more satisfying than doing something on your own and making it genuine. I hope you enjoy this performance.

Ningún camino fácil conduce a la felicidad, a la realización y la satisfacción duradera. Recuerdo que en una oportunidad practicando senderismo recorrimos más de 90 kilómetros por la montaña. No fue una tarea fácil, ocurrieron algunas caídas, incluso nos perdimos. Afortunadamente, teníamos un GPS en mano y pudimos volver al sendero correcto. Probablemente, hubiera sido más fácil tomar un autobús y no hacer ese recorrido. A pesar de los desafíos, recibimos algunas recompensas, entre ellas, respirar de un aire puro, disfrutar de la naturaleza, y el ejercicio físico. Sé que el esfuerzo, el trabajo honrado y la integridad nos transforman y nos preparan para mejores cosas. Con la llegada al mundo de la IA, hemos visto que se les ha facilitado el trabajo a muchos, pero hay algunos que abusan de esta herramienta, y que ha dejado a un lado el esfuerzo y la autenticidad. No hay nada más satisfactorio que hacer algo por tu propia cuenta y que sea genuino. Espero de que disfruten de esta interpretación.
