Vienna at Night 🔥 (Rammstein in Vienna, military march, background story)

Der Song "Links 2 3 4" ist ein älterer Rammstein-Song von 2001 aus dem Album "Mutter" und hat auch einen politischen Hintergrund, die Band wollte sich damit als politisch linke Band positionieren. Vielleicht um den woken Medien zu gefallen und damaligen Nazi-Vorwürfen den Wind aus den Segeln zu nehmen. Die Band hat immer schon skandalisiert.

Der Song wurde übrigens auch in Wien in der Eröffnung (2. Song) gespielt. Der erste Song war Rammlied.

Vorband gab es bei den Rammstein-Konzerten in Wien übrigens keine. Dafür war der Auftritt im wahrsten Sinne bombastisch. Das Konzert startete mit einer lauten Explosion, auch der Bass war mega stark, Rammstein sind einfach große Showmeister, laut, extravagant. Angeblich werden pro Show 1000 Liter Brennstoff verbraucht. Die Hitze der Flammenwerfer hat man jedenfalls im gesamten Stadion gespürt, genauso wie den Bass.

Es wurde ein Mix aus älteren und neueren Songs gespielt, obwohl mir die Klassiker irgendwie besser gefallen. Insgesamt gab es sogar 7 Zugaben und das Konzert endete, wie ich mir fast gedacht habe, mit dem neue Song Adieu. Wie passend.

The song "Links 2 3 4" is an older Rammstein song from 2001 from the album "Mother" and also has a political background, the band wanted to position themselves as a politically left-wing band. By the way, there was no opening band at the Rammstein concerts in Vienna. For that the performance was bombastic in the truest sense. The concert started with a loud explosion, also the bass was mega strong, Rammstein are simply great show masters, loud, extravagant. Allegedly, 1000 liters of fuel are consumed per show. Anyway, you could feel the heat of the flamethrowers throughout the stadium, as well as the bass.

A mix of older and newer songs was played, although I somehow like the classics better. In total there were even 7 encores and the concert ended, as I almost thought, with the new song Adieu. How fitting.
