Finde die Musik schön, mit dem Text kann ich weniger anfangen.
Geschichtlich haben westeuropäische Kreuzfahrer das Land eine Zeit lang erobert (1099-1291). Israel gab es damals nicht. Die Region war immer schon stark umkämpft und wechselte oft die Herrscher. Zuletzt war Palästina vor 1948 unter britischer Kontrolle. Kolonialismus.

I think the music is beautiful, but I can't really relate to the lyrics.
Historically, Western European crusaders conquered the land for a while (1099-1291). Israel didn't exist back then. The region has always been heavily contested and often changed rulers. Palestine was last under British control before 1948. Colonialism.

Despite the beauty of the music, it is crucial to note that the lyrics capture a particular historical context. At that time, the Western European Crusades embarked on military expeditions to the Holy Land, including Palestine, a region marked by disputes and changes in rulers throughout history.
The crusades were a messy and violent time. The world was much very much in the dark ages back then. It would have been horrible to live back then! I've never heard his music, I'll make point to listen it
