Wild Riffs: The Rock Anthems That Set the Movie Screen on Fire

Good afternoon, today I want to make a post dedicated to those rock songs that were a very important piece since they amplify the emotions in the scenes in powerful ways.

So I present to you some rock songs that have appeared in popular movies:

At number 1 you find: “Bohemian Rhapsody” – Queen

It's very difficult to choose just one song from the Queen movie. But if I have to choose just one song, without a doubt I'd go with “Bohemian Rhapsody”

Bohemian Rhapsody is a work of art. It has an a cappella introduction, a ballad section, and an operatic interlude that makes the song radically change into a rock section, with Brian's great guitar solo.

The lyrics are open to interpretation and have generated many theories over the years. Some people suggest that it is a personal confession by Freddie Mercury, while others see it as a fictional narrative with no clear meaning. It includes references to terms such as "Scaramouche," "Fandango," "Galileo," and "Bismillah," which adds a theatrical and cryptic air to the song.

At number 2 you find: “Dungeons & Dragons” – Led Zeppelin

"Whole Lotta Love" is one of my favorite songs and it seems that it is also the favorite song of many movie directors since it appears in several movies. It was released in 1969 and people know it for its famous guitar riff, thanks to the great Jimmy Page.

At number 3 you find: “Easy Rider” – Steppenwolf

This song symbolizes freedom and rebellious spirit, and it was used perfectly in this movie about counterculture and nomadic lifestyle. And to tell you the truth, I haven't seen it yet, so this weekend I'll look it up on the internet and watch it quietly with my wife.

At number 4 you find: “The Doors” – The Doors

Here the organ riff played by Ray Manzarek and its psychedelic atmosphere makes you transport yourself to another dimension as if you were not from this world. Robby Krieger wrote this song with the singer.

The movie is a great movie for both the songs and the actors, it is a movie that you have to see if you haven't already

At number 5 you find: “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” – George Thorogood & The Destroyers

T-800 character played by Arnold Schwarzenegger (I had to copy and paste because I couldn't spell it right) who plays the bad guy in the first installment but everything takes an unexpected turn. Great action movie and all the ones that follow. I've read somewhere that they're going to make another movie, and it's true that with how old Arnold is we'll see what happens.
