Mi experiencia en la final del Festival Nuevas Bandas 2023/My experience at the Festival Nuevas Banda 2023 finale

Hola comunidad de melómanos, por acá de nuevo @rasecdus. Se que estuve desaparecido por un tiempo, pero he vuelto con la mejor de las vibras y con muchas cosas que compartir.

Hoy les vengo a compartir mi experiencia en la gran final del Festival Nuevas Bandas 2023. Este post debió haber salido hace tiempo, pero no lo hice en sum momento dado a que estaba recolectando la fotos y averiguando el paradero de las personas que las tomaron, debido a que no quería subir un post sin esas fotos, debido a que quedaron increíbles y sus autores merecen el debido reconocimiento.

Sin más dilación, empiezo mi relato de toda la travesía primero recordando lo que es el Festival Nuevas Bandas: cómo he comentado en posts anteriores, este se trata de uno de los mayores eventos de apoyo a la música alternativa en mi país, Venezuela; de este festival han salido artistas de renombre internacional cómo Caramelos de Cianuro, Desorden Público, Rawayana, La Vida Bohème, Los Mesoneros, Viniloversus, y esto solo por mencionar a algunos. Debido a este renombre del Festival, mi banda Formas participo en el Circuito Centro Occidente y resultamos ganadores de este, lo cual para nosotros ya era aún sueño cumplido, pero nos esperaba el mayor reto en la gran final.

Partimos de nuestra ciudad, Barquisimeto, hacia la capital Caracas el día anterior al evento, con el mayor de los entusiasmos y con mucha energía y emoción, debido a que esto representaba el fruto de más de un año de trabajo duro y constancia.

El viaje fue de aproximadamente 6 horas, pero lo disfrutamos, estuvo tranquilo y sin muchos percances. Cabe destacar que este viaje no lo hicimos solamente Formas, cómo banda, si no que también nos acompañaron el equipo técnico respectivo, amigos y parejas. En mi caso, me acompañó mi cómplice de aventuras, la genial @anjiart , este viaje no hubiera sido lo mismo sin la compañía de ella.

Al llegar a Caracas,cumplimos con una tradición,que fue ir a uno de los puestos callejeros y comernos nuestros respectivos perros calientes.

Luego de haber descansado del viaje, nos levantamos en la mañana con la hermosa vista al cerro Ávila y con la mejor de las energías nos embarcamos al sitio del evento.

Al llegar al evento, nos encontramos con una escenario inmenso, el más grande en el que hayamos estado hasta ahora y aprovechamos de ver a las bandas que se presentaron antes de nosotros y además de compartir con otros grupos. Personalmente, amé la presentación de Ceres, es una banda con mucho potencial y un sonido muy pulido, y al terminar, aproveché de hablar con su vocalista y tomarnos un par de "ussies".

Finalmente, llegó nuestro momento, con una mezcla de emociones y mucho nerviosismo, nos dispusimos a dar nuestro mejor show, todo nuestro esfuerzo y dejarlo todo en el escenario.

Y justo así fue, derrochamos toda nuestra buena vibra, la energía del público fue increíble, y justo en ese momento, en esos 20 minutos que tuvimos en el escenario, el esfuerzo de todos los meses previos valió completamente la pena.

Por mi parte, fue un sueño hecho realidad. Toqué mi música frente a más de 3000 personas, y eso no me lo va a quitar nadie. Sinceramente me siento muy agradecido con la vida por haberme permitido hacer lo que me apasiona y lo que amo.

Al finalizar nuestra presentación, tuvimos una entrevista y aproveché de ver al resto de grupos participantes y me encontré a algunos integrantes de la banda Gran Celaje, los cuales participaron en el FNB 2022.

Ahora, la gran pregunta, ¿ganamos? Pues, en lo que respecta al Festival, no, no lo ganamos, los triunfadores fueron el local Fakboi y los muchachos de Cunaguaro, cuya presentación fue de las mejores y con más energía de todo el Festival; pero en lo que respecta a otras cosas, sí ganamos: ganamos experiencia, ganamos público, ganamos relaciones y ganamos la oportunidad de que muchas personas nuevas oyeran nuestra música, y eso la verdad, en mi libro, no lo considero para nada una derrota.

Y así como toda travesía tiene un inicio, esta también tiene un final. Nos llevamos de la experiencia en el Festival muchas cosas positivas y mucha satisfacción, al llegar a casa nos sentimos felices del trabajo realizado y esto solo es el inicio de nuestra nueva etapa cómo banda.

Sin más que decir, me despido, por ahora, no sin antes decirles que los sueños si se cumplen, con mucho esfuerzo y dedicación, pero se cumplen. Arrivederci melómanos, y siempre recuerden estar tranquilos tra tranquilos. . .🎶

Hello music lovers community, here I am again @rasecdus. I know I've been missing for a while, but I'm back with the best of vibes and with a lot of stuff to share.

Today I'm here to share with you my experience at the grand finale of the Nuevas Bandas 2023 Festival. This post should've been published some time ago, but I didn't do it at the time because I was collecting the photos and finding out the whereabouts of the people who took them, because I didn't want to upload a post without those photos, because they were amazing and their authors deserve the due recognition.

Without further ado, I begin my account of the whole journey first remembering what the Festival Nuevas Bandas is: as I have commented in previous posts, this is one of the biggest events to support alternative music in my country, Venezuela; this festival has produced internationally renowned artists such as Caramelos de Cianuro, Desorden Público, Rawayana, La Vida Bohème, Los Mesoneros, Viniloversus, and this just to mention a few. Due to the renown of the Festival, my band Formas participated in the Circuito Centro Occidente and we were winners of it, which for us was already a dream come true, but the biggest challenge awaited us in the grand finale.

We left our city, Barquisimeto, to the capital Caracas the day before the event, with the greatest enthusiasm and with a lot of energy and excitement, because this represented the fruit of more than a year of hard work and perseverance.

The trip was approximately 6 hours, but we enjoyed it, it was calm and without many mishaps. It should be noted that this trip was not only made by Formas, as a band, but we were also accompanied by the respective technical team, friends and partners. In my case, I was accompanied by my accomplice of adventures, the great @anjiart, this trip would not have been the same without her company.

When we arrived in Caracas, we fulfilled a tradition, which was to go to one of the street stalls and eat our respective hot dogs.

After having rested from the trip, we woke up in the morning with the beautiful view of the Avila mountain and with the best of energies we embarked to the site of the event.

When we arrived at the event, we found a huge stage, the biggest we have been to so far, and we took the opportunity to see the bands that performed before us and also to share with other groups. Personally, I loved Ceres' performance, they are a band with a lot of potential and a very polished sound, and when they finished, I took the opportunity to talk to their vocalist and have a couple of ussies.

Finally, our moment arrived, with a mixture of emotions and a lot of nervousness, we were ready to give our best show, all our effort and leave everything on stage.

And that's just how it was, we gave off all our good vibes, the energy of the audience was incredible, and just at that moment, in those 20 minutes we had on stage, the effort of all the previous months was completely worth it.

For me, it was a dream come true. I played my music in front of more than 3000 people, and nobody is going to take that away from me. I sincerely feel very grateful with life for allowing me to do what I love and what I'm passionate about.

After our show, we had an interview and I took the opportunity to see the rest of the participating groups and I met some members of the band Gran Celaje, which participated in the FNB 2022.

Now, the bigger question, did we win? Well, as far as the Festival is concerned, no, we didn't win, the winners were the local Fakboi and the guys from Cunaguaro, whose presentation was one of the best and most energetic of the whole Festival; but as far as other things are concerned, we did win: we gained experience, we gained audience, we gained relationships and we gained the opportunity for many new people to hear our music, and the truth is, in my book, I don't consider that a defeat at all.

And just as every journey has a beginning, this one also has an end. We take from the experience at the Festival many positive things and a lot of satisfaction, when we get home we feel happy with the work done and this is just the beginning of our new stage as a band.
